WIRELESS BIOLOGICAL MONITORING
A patient monitoring system includes: a biomedical sensor including: a transducer configured to produce a signal corresponding to a biological function; a sensor converter configured to convert the signal to a converted signal; and a transmitter configured to produce a communication, based on the converted signal, that is indicative of one or more values of the biological function, and to send the communication wirelessly; and a base station including: a receiver configured to receive the communication wirelessly and to produce a receiver output signal; a base station interface configured to produce a base station output signal indicative of the one or more values of the biological function; and at least one output port to receive the base station output signal and configured to be hard-wire connected to a display that is configured to display information indicative of the biological function.
REAL-TIME TELE-SONOGRAPHY
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a master sonography device configured to determine movement parameters describing movement of a master transducer head by a sonographer, and a slave sonography device, remote from the master sonography device, being configured to move a slave transducer head based on the movement parameters received from the master sonography device. The slave sonography device includes a positioning system that is configured to generate patient parameters describing margins of a patient. Aspects of the present disclosure further relate to a mock patient configured to conform to the margins of the patient based on the patient parameters to mimic the patient at the master sonography device during the sonography examination, such that manipulation of the master transducer head applied against the mock patient controls movement of the slave transducer head applied against the patient.
Multi-purpose ultrasound image acquisition device
The present invention relates to an ultrasound image acquisition device (46) for use together with a console device (16, 18) to form an ultrasound imaging system (10) and a corresponding method. The ultrasound image acquisition device (46) particularly comprises a recognition device for recognizing an operating mode of the ultrasound image acquisition device, wherein the recognition device is configured to recognize the operating mode depending on a type of the console device (16, 18) and/or an applicable communication standard of the interface (50). By this, a dual purpose image acquisition probe (14) may be provided.
Dual function cooling and charging unit for an ultrasound imaging apparatus, and related ultrasound systems
An ultrasound imaging system comprises an ultrasound imaging apparatus operable to acquire ultrasound image data and comprising a power accepting interface; and a dual function charging and cooling unit configured to detachably couple to the ultrasound imaging apparatus; wherein the dual function charging and cooling unit comprises i) a power conveying element to convey power to the ultrasound imaging apparatus and ii) an active cooling element for removing heat from the ultrasound imaging apparatus.
COORDINATING SCANNERS IN AN ULTRASOUND CART
This disclosure provides systems, devices, methods, and apparatus, for coordinating scanners in an ultrasound cart. An ultrasound system can include an ultrasound cart having a scanner holder configured to hold ultrasound scanners, a display device configured to display a visual representation of the scanner holder, and at least one of the ultrasound scanners. The visual representation can be implemented to identify locations of the ultrasound scanners on the scanner holder. The ultrasound scanners can be configured to indicate, while being held in the scanner holder, that one ultrasound scanner of the ultrasound scanners is to be selected for an ultrasound examination. The ultrasound scanner can also be configured to implement a first ultrasound imaging mode when a display device is attached to the ultrasound cart, and a second ultrasound imaging mode and not the first ultrasound imaging mode when the display device is removed from the ultrasound cart.
ULTRASOUND PROBE AND ULTRASOUND SYSTEM PROVIDED WITH SAID ULTRASOUND PROBE
An ultrasound probe in combination with at least an operating unit such as a tracking sensor or receiver and/or a keypad and/or a surgical tool support, wherein the probe and the at least one operating unit are each one provided with one of two parts of a releasable joint, the said two parts of the joint being releasably engageable one with the other by magnetic force and by mechanical coupling.
WIRELESS ULTRASOUND PROBE AND ULTRASOUND IMAGING APPARATUS CONNECTED WITH WIRELESS ULTRASOUND PROBE
Provided are a wireless ultrasound probe and an ultrasound imaging apparatus connected with the wireless ultrasound probe. The wireless ultrasound probe includes: a battery; and a charging terminal connector that is coupled to a power supply terminal of the ultrasound imaging apparatus and receives power from the power supply terminal to charge the battery, wherein the charging terminal connector has a unique shape configured to be physically coupled to the power supply terminal.
Bone surface image reconstruction using ultrasound
An ultrasonic transducer element can configured to generate ultrasonic energy directed into tissue of a subject and configured to receive a portion of the ultrasonic energy reflected by a target located within the tissue. The ultrasonic transducer can include a surface configured to provide or receive the ultrasonic energy, the surface including an area of greater than or equal to about 4.sup.2, or the ultrasonic transducer element can be included in an array having a spacing between at least two adjacent ultrasound elements of less than or equal to about , and the array comprising an aperture that is at least approximately symmetrical in two axes. A three-dimensional representation of one or more of a location, shape, or orientation of at least a portion of the target can be presented via the display.
DISPOSABLE PROBE
Arrangements disclosed herein relate to a disposable probe system for use in an ultrasound system, the probe system includes a disposable probe configured to transmit or receive acoustic energy, and a base included in the ultrasound system. The disposable probe is configured to be removably attached to the base.
ULTRASONIC PROBE HOLDER
An ultrasonic probe holder which holds and houses an ultrasonic probe including a head including an output surface which outputs ultrasonic waves and a grip extending from the head includes: a bottom that includes a first opening having a size such that the head and the grip of the ultrasonic probe do not pass therethrough; and a tube that extends from the bottom and includes a second opening having a size such that the head and the grip of the ultrasonic probe pass therethrough at an extended end and a slit connected to the second opening and the first opening on the bottom.
