A cleaning liquid for excessive powder removal is provided. The cleaning liquid includes a hydrocarbon solvent having an octanol/water partition coefficient (log P.sub.ow value) of 4.5 or more. The cleaning liquid is to remove excessive powder for molding adhering to a solidified object molded using the powder for molding.
Headlight lens cleaning and restoring compositions and methods of use thereof
A polycarbonate headlight lens cleaning and restoring kit has a lens cleaning composition, an applicator wipe; and a lens restoring composition comprising a coating component. The polycarbonate cleaning composition contains only liquid components and is free of water. The cleaning composition has a first solvent that softens a Control Polycarbonate Substrate and has a flash point of from −58 F to 220 F; and a second solvent that does not soften a Control Polycarbonate Substrate. The first solvent and the second solvent are present in an amount effective to substantially remove discoloring contaminants from a polycarbonate headlight lens and the polycarbonate lens, and also in an amount so that, after removal of the discoloring contaminants, the polycarbonate headlight lens can be restored to a clear condition. A method of cleaning and restoring a polycarbonate headlight lens that is at least partially discolored from discoloring contaminants is also provided.

The present application provides compositions comprising 1,2-dichloro-1,2-difluoroethylene (i.e., CFO-1112) and, optionally, an additional component. The present application further provides use of the compositions provided herein in cleaning, solvent, carrier fluid, and deposition applications.
QUATERNARY AZEOTROPE AND AZEOTROPE-LIKE COMPOSITIONS FOR SOLVENT AND CLEANING APPLICATIONS
The present application provides quaternary azeotrope or azeotrope-like compositions comprising trans-dichloroethylene and three or more additional components. Methods of using the compositions provided herein in cleaning, defluxing, deposition, and carrier fluid applications are also provided.
Cleaning composition
Provided herein is a cleaning composition including: from 20 to 90% by weight of dimethyl sulfoxide, from 5 to 30% by weight of at least one mineral oil (M), and from 5 to 50% by weight of at least one bipolar organic solvent (L). The ranges of proportions indicated are in each case based on the total weight of the cleaning composition. Also provided herein is a method of cleaning components by employing the cleaning composition, and also the cleaned components themselves.
Suctionable gel and method for eliminating a contamination contained in a surface organic layer of a solid substrate
A suctionable gel for eliminating a contaminating species contained in an organic layer on the surface of a material, consisting of a colloidal solution comprising, preferably consisting of: 1 wt % to 25 wt %, preferably 5 wt % to 20 wt % based on the total weight of the gel, of at least one inorganic viscosifying agent; 13 wt % to 99 wt %, preferably 80 wt % to 95 wt % based on the total weight of the gel, of an organic solvent selected among the terpenes and the mixtures thereof; optionally, 0.01 wt % to 10 wt %, based on the total weight of the gel, of at least one dye and/or pigment; optionally 0.1 wt % to 2 wt %, based on the total weight of the gel, of at least one surfactant. The disclosure further relates to a decontamination method using the gel.
Method for cleaning and coating a tip of a test probe utilized in a test system for an integrated circuit package
A method for cleaning and coating a tip of a test probe in an integrated circuit package test system is provided. The method includes 1) saturating a brush tip comprising nonporous bristles with a solution of phosphonic acid; 2) applying the solution of phosphonic acid to the tip of the test probe with the brush tip to coat the tip of the test probe with the solution of phosphonic acid; and 3) allowing the solution of phosphonic acid to dry on the tip of the test probe and form a self-assembled monolayer of phosphonates thereon.
Cleaning agent composition
Provided is a cleaning agent composition for use in an adhesion process for applying an adhesive to a surface of a first member subjected to a dry treatment without a primer, and adhering a second member to the surface of the first member. The cleaning agent comprises a compound (A) having a (meth)acryloyl group and a liquid (B) having a boiling point of not higher than 200° C.
MEMBER, CONTAINER, CHEMICAL LIQUID STORAGE BODY, REACTOR, DISTILLATION COLUMN, FILTER UNIT, STORAGE TANK, PIPE LINE, AND CHEMICAL LIQUID MANUFACTURING METHOD
The present invention provides a member which makes is possible to obtain excellent residue defect inhibition properties and excellent bridge defect inhibition properties of a chemical liquid in a case where the member is brought into contact with the chemical liquid. The present invention also provides a container, a chemical liquid storage body, a reactor, a distillation column, a filter unit, a storage tank, a pipe line, and a chemical liquid manufacturing method. The member according to an embodiment of the present invention is a member that will be brought into contact with a chemical liquid. A surface of the member is constituted with stainless steel containing chromium atoms and iron atoms. In a case where an atomic ratio of the chromium atoms to the iron atoms is measured from the surface of the member to a position 10 nm below the surface in a depth direction, a maximum value of the atomic ratio is found in a region extending 3 nm from the surface of the member in the depth direction. The maximum value is 0.5 to 3.0, and an average surface roughness of the surface of the member is equal to or lower than 10 nm.
