Heavy oil modification and productivity restorers
A hydrocarbon based fluid additive which reciprocally can be added to either condensate diluent or heavy oil, such as in situ, mined oils sands or crude oils, to form a less viscous whole fluid.
REMOVAL OF ORGANIC DEPOSITS
Disclosed is a cleaning composition for removing organic deposits. The cleaning composition comprises a salt of the monoconjugate base of an aliphatic phosphate monoester and a salt of the conjugate base of an aliphatic phosphate diester in a hydrocarbon-based solvent system. The cleaning composition has been found to be effective in use together with an aqueous phase in mobilizing or dissolving organic deposits, without forming persistent emulsions, suspensions or the like. Accordingly following its use phase separation between a hydrocarbon-based phase and an aqueous phase occurs following a settling period.
Cleaning Agent Composition
Provided is a cleaning agent composition for use in an adhesion process for applying an adhesive to a surface of a first member subjected to a dry treatment without a primer, and adhering a second member to the surface of the first member. The cleaning agent comprises a compound (A) having a (meth)acryloyl group and a liquid (B) having a boiling point of not higher than 200 C.
SILOXANE COMPOSITIONS AND CLEANING METHOD USING THE SAME
The compositions include a methylated siloxane liquid and a solvent comprising at least one of a ketone or ester each having up to six carbon atoms, a halogenated alkane having up to two carbon atoms, tetrachloroethene, 1-chloro-4-trifluoromethyl benzene, or ethane. The compositions can also include hydrocarbon solvent comprising at least one of toluene, xylene, or a saturated hydrocarbon represented by formula C.sub.xH.sub.2x+y, wherein x is from 5 to 8, and wherein y is 0 or 2 and/or propellant. The method can include applying the composition to a brake system component to clean the brake system component. The method can also include applying a composition including hexamethyldisiloxane to a brake system component to clean the brake system component.
POLYSTYRENE AND/OR STYRENE COPOLYMERS SOLUBILIZING COMPOSITION
A composition for solubilizing polystyrene and/or styrene copolymers, including a first component and a second component, in which the first component is selected from solvents having a flashpoint of at least 25? C., and the second component is soluble in the first component. The use of the composition as a cleaning composition for the removal of polystyrene and/or styrene copolymers from a surface and a method for the removal of polystyrene and/or styrene copolymers from a surface.
Cleaner composition and preparation of thin substrate
A cleaner composition consisting essentially of (A) 92.0 wt % to less than 99.9 wt % of an organic solvent, (B) 0.1 wt % to less than 8.0 wt % of a C.sub.3-C.sub.6 alcohol, and (C) 0.001-3.0 wt % of a quaternary ammonium salt is effective for removing any silicone adhesive residues on a silicon semiconductor substrate. A satisfactory degree of cleanness is achieved within a short time and at a high efficiency without causing corrosion to the substrate.
GUN OIL COMPOSITION
A gun oil composition adapted specifically for the needs and requirements of modern firearms. The gun oil composition improves lubricity and gun performance under normal and extreme heat and pressure, minimizes and largely prevents the build-up of carbon and debris fouling on metal and non-metal components of the firearm, and substantially reduces cleaning time, while providing increased protection against environmental components such as dust, dirt and rust. The gun oil composition can include a base oil having at least a high viscosity index, an oil having at least a medium viscosity index with a detergent additive, a low viscosity penetrating oil, and a sulfurized ester.
COSMETIC BRUSH CLEANER
[Problem] To provide a cosmetic brush cleaner excellent in quick dryability and capable of removing stains such as deposited cosmetics with ease in the following manner: impregnating tissue paper, towel, or the like with the cleaner to wipe off the cosmetics, sebum, and the like deposited on a cosmetic brush; or directly spraying the cleaner on a cosmetic brush, and wiping the brush with dry tissue paper or the like.
[Solution] A cosmetic brush cleaner including: (A) a lower alcohol in an amount of 30 to 99 mass %; (B) a volatile oil in an amount of 1 to 70 mass %; and (C) water in an amount of 7 mass % or less (including 0 mass %).
Printing press cleaning compositions
Disclose herein is a composition comprising a hydrocarbon solvent; an aromatic solvent; a methylated siloxane; and a surfactant. Also disclosed is a method of preparing an emulsion for cleaning purposes comprising mixing a solution at a rate of greater than 500 rpm for at least two hours, wherein the solution comprises a hydrocarbon solvent, an aromatic solvent, a methylated siloxane, and a surfactant. In addition, disclosed herein is a method of cleaning rollers, plates, or blankets of a printing machine with a cleaning mixture, the method comprising contacting the rollers or blankets with the cleaning mixture, wherein the cleaning mixture comprises a hydrocarbon solvent, an aromatic solvent, a methylated siloxane, and a surfactant.
SUCTIONABLE GEL AND METHOD FOR ELIMINATING A CONTAMINATION CONTAINED IN A SURFACE ORGANIC LAYER OF A SOLID SUBSTRATE
A suctionable gel for eliminating a contaminating species contained in an organic layer on the surface of a material, consisting of a colloidal solution comprising, preferably consisting of: 1 wt % to 25 wt %, preferably 5 wt % to 20 wt % based on the total weight of the gel, of at least one inorganic viscosifying agent; 13 wt % to 99 wt %, preferably 80 wt % to 95 wt % based on the total weight of the gel, of an organic solvent selected among the terpenes and the mixtures thereof; optionally, 0.01 wt % to 10 wt %, based on the total weight of the gel, of at least one dye and/or pigment; optionally 0.1 wt % to 2 wt %, based on the total weight of the gel, of at least one surfactant.
