ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, ULTRASOUND PROBE SWITCHING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus to which a plurality of ultrasound probes are connected and which transmits and receives ultrasound using one of the plurality of ultrasound probes to generate ultrasound image data, the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes the following, a detector which optically detects the ultrasound probe which is used among the plurality of ultrasound probes; and a hardware processor which switches and sets the detected ultrasound probe to be the ultrasound probe which is used.
Ultrasound probe and ultrasound diagnosis system including same
Provided is an ultrasound probe. The ultrasound probe may maintain temperature of an acoustic module predetermined temperature or less even when an image processor is disposed in a rear direction of the acoustic module inside a housing. For purpose, the ultrasound probe may include at least one anisotropic heat conductive member such that heat from the acoustic module is transferred to a first heat sink member disposed in a rear direction of the image processor.
Ultrasound diagnosis apparatus and method of operating the same
Provided is an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus connected with at least one wired ultrasound probe and at least one wireless ultrasound probe. The ultrasound diagnosis apparatus includes: at least one wired ultrasound probe connected via wire to the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus; at least one wireless ultrasound probe connected to the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus by using wireless communication; a wireless communication module configured to receive a pairing reception signal from the at least one wireless ultrasound probe to thereby be connected with the at least one wireless ultrasound probe by using a wireless communication method and to transmit and receive a beamforming control signal and ultrasound image data to and from each of the at least one wireless ultrasound probe; and a controller configured to detect an ultrasound probe being used by a user, and activate the detected ultrasound probe.
PROBE COVER
A cover for a probe 12, such as an ultrasonic probe, the cover comprising a flexible elongate pouch 1 and a mouth portion 2 for inserting the probe 12 into the pouch, the mouth portion 2 comprising sealing means to enable the mouth portion to be formed into sealing engagement with a proximal end 11 of the probe. Also, a method of preventing a decontaminated ultrasonic probe from contamination comprising the step of, immediately after disinfection, inserting the ultrasonic probe 12 into a cover comprising a flexible elongate pouch 1 and a mouth portion 2 for inserting the probe 12 into to pouch, the mouth portion 2 comprising a deformably rigid portion 3, and deforming the mouth portion 2 into a sealing engagement with a proximal end 11 of the probe, wherein no undisinfected portion of the probe 12 enters the pouch 1.
Ultrasound diagnostic apparatus, holder assembly, and method for controlling the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus
Disclosed is an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus. The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes a holder implemented to hold a probe; an object sensor for detecting physical changes around the holder; an electromagnetic wave sensor for detecting electromagnetic waves around the holder; and a controller for determining a port name for a probe held in the holder, based on sensing values from the object sensor and electromagnetic wave sensor.
Ultrasound system and method
A method executed at least in part by a computer and comprising responding to an instruction requesting an ultrasound exam by wirelessly communicating with an ultrasound system by transmitting a query signal and receiving a response signal from the ultrasound system. Response can determine whether or not the ultrasound system is configured with at least a suitable transducer for the requested ultrasound exam. The method determines whether or not an operator identified in the response signal is trained to administer the requested ultrasound exam. A schedule signal for the requested ultrasound exam is transmitted. A displayed message indicates progress of the requested ultrasound exam.
Ultrasound probe and communication method thereof
Provided are an ultrasound probe and a communication method of the ultrasound probe capable of selecting an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus and/or a wireless communication method that are most appropriate in an environment in which a plurality of ultrasound diagnosis apparatuses exist. A method of communicating with an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus, performed by the ultrasound probe, includes operations of obtaining a plurality of pieces of information about ultrasound diagnosis apparatuses; displaying an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus list, based on the plurality of pieces of information about the ultrasound diagnosis apparatuses; receiving an input for selecting an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus from the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus list; and wirelessly transmitting ultrasound image data to the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus, wherein the ultrasound image data is generated by the ultrasound probe.
Systems and methods for securing operation of an ultrasound scanner
The present embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for securing operation of an ultrasound scanner for use with a multi-use electronic display device. In some embodiments, the multi-use electronic display device can control whether the ultrasound scanner is permitted to generate ultrasound image data for display based on an institution affiliation status of the ultrasound scanner retrieved from a server. In some embodiments, the multi-use electronic display device can control whether the ultrasound scanner is permitted to generate ultrasound image data for display based on whether a digital certificate provided by a server is successfully validated.
ULTRASOUND IMAGING SYSTEM INCLUDING WIRELESS PROBE TRACKING
Ultrasound imaging systems including transducer probes having wireless tags, and associated systems and methods, are described herein. For example, the wireless tags can store supplemental data about the transducer probes, and the ultrasound system can include a base unit configured to wirelessly communicate with nearby ones of the wireless tags to receive the supplemental data. The base unit can be further configured to display the transducer probes that are nearby. In some embodiments, the operator can filter or sort the displayed nearby transducer probes based on the supplemental data to identify a particular one of the nearby transducer devices that has one or more desired attributes.
ULTRASOUND PROBE
An ultrasound probe 11 includes a housing 12 having a transducer array accommodation portion 14 and a battery storage portion 13B, a transducer array accommodated in the transducer array accommodation portion 14, and a battery 21 stored in the battery storage portion 13B. The housing 12 has an attachable and detachable battery cover 17 that covers the battery storage portion 13B, a nameplate 22 is disposed on an inside or an outside of the battery storage portion 13B with respect to the battery cover 17 in a visible manner, and a waterproof structure for restraining water from entering the nameplate 22 is provided.
