A soap bar comprising: (a) 25 to 85% by weight, based on the total weight of the bar, of fatty acid soap; (b) 0.1 to 100 ppm by weight, based on the total weight of the bar, of at least one silver (I) compound having a selected silver ion solubility, wherein at 25? C., a 1 wt % solution of the bar in water has a pH of from 9 to 11.

Soap bar composition for high water structuring and binding

A soap bar is provided, comprising: a soap; water; a cellulose derivative selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyalkyl alkyl cellulose; and an additive selected from the group consisting of a psyllium, a sodium silicate and mixtures thereof; wherein the soap bar is a solid.

Bar compositions comprising C.SUB.10 .soap while minimizing ratio of unsaturated C.SUB.18 .soap to caprate

The invention relates to bar composition comprising minimum floor levels of C.sub.10 soap while minimizing ratio of unsaturated C.sub.18 soap to caprate. Such bars provide enhanced rapid, antibacterial activity. Disclosed is a soap bar composition comprising: a) 25 to 85%, preferably 35 to 75% by weight of C.sub.8 to C.sub.24 fatty acid soap comprising: (i) C10 soap at 8% or 15% or greater, more preferably 16 to 32% by weight of total bar composition; and, (ii) unsaturated C.sub.18 soap, wherein weight ratio of said unsaturated C.sub.18 soap to C.sub.10 (caprate) soap is 1.2 to 0.1. b) 1 to 45% organic and inorganic adjuvant materials by weight of the composition; and, c) 5 to 30%, preferably 13 to 28% water by weight of the composition, wherein excess of C.sub.10 soap to unsaturated C.sub.18 soap is at least 6%.

DETERGENT COMPOSITION

A detergent composition, preferably a manual dishwashing detergent composition, including one or more diol synthases capable of converting one or more unsaturated fatty acids into one or more oxylipins, and a surfactant system including one or more anionic surfactants and one or more co-surfactants selected from the group consisting of amphoteric surfactant, zwitterionic surfactant, and mixtures thereof. Method of using the detergent composition including a surfactant system and the diol synthases are also provided.

DETERGENT COMPOSITION

A liquid detergent composition, preferably a liquid manual dishwashing detergent composition, comprising one or more hydroperoxy fatty acid producing enzymes selected from the group consisting of: arachidonate lipoxygenases, alpha-dioxygenases, and mixtures thereof, preferably alpha-dioxygenases, a surfactant system and a liquid carrier (i.e., water). Methods of washing comprising the liquid detergent composition are also provided.

An all-natural, moisturizing soap composition that allows for high vegetable butter fat content while also being capable of processing for high quality bar soap (moisturizing properties without sticky pellets, brittleness, cracking, and/or inhibition of lather formation) and a method for making the same and other soaps is provided. The soap composition may contain up to 50% vegetable butter fat(s). The semi-continuous process for saponification provides a fast and energy efficient alternative to prior art methods, while also allowing for high quality bar soap that contains a high content (up to 50%) of vegetable butter fat(s).
