A UNIT DOSE TABLET COMPOSITION
A unit-dose tablet composition comprising a surfactant, a builder, a filler and an effervescent agent selected from organic acids wherein at least 90% wt. of the effervescent agent is coated with triglyceride oil.
TOILET DEODORANT COMPOSITION AND METHOD
A chemical composition includes citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, starch, at least one oil, and a liquid composition such as water combined to form a solid tablet. The composition may react with water to produce a film over a body of water, such that the film is used to cover the surface of the contents of a latrine and prevent gasses and odors from escaping the latrine.
Solid laundry detergent for restaurant soils
The invention relates to solid detergents for cleaning restaurant soils and methods of making and using the same. Embodiments of the invention can include solid cleaning compositions having an alkalinity source comprising an alkali metal carbonate, a surfactant system comprising an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant, a water conditioning agent, and water. Embodiments of the invention can have a pH between about 7 and about 11, and are suitable for removing restaurant soils, including, synthetic grease, animal grease, and proteinaceous soils.
Use of a silicate and amino carboxylate combination for enhancing metal protection in alkaline detergents
The invention includes ware detergent compositions which prevent buildup of precipitates and also surprisingly provides significant metal protection of items exposed to alkaline detergent composition. According to the invention alkaline ware detergents may include an effective amount of amino carboxylate. Surprisingly, detergents which included amino carboxylate also provided significant metal protection against corrosion, even when traditional corrosion inhibiting components are reduced.
FILAMENT FOR PRODUCING A WASHING OR CLEANING AGENT PRODUCT, WASHING OR CLEANING AGENT PRODUCT, METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILAMENTS AND WASHING OR CLEANING AGENT PRODUCT AND PRINTING TEMPLATE FOR THE WASHING OR CLEANING AGENT PRODUCT
The present disclosure relates to a filament (1,13,24) for printing a washing or cleaning agent product (12,28,31), comprising a filament matrix and at least one washing or cleaning agent component bound in the filament matrix, the filament matrix is formed, at least essentially, by at least one water-soluble plastic and the at least one washing or cleaning agent component is received in the filament matrix.
EXCIPIENT AND TABLET
The present invention provides an excipient which can form a tablet, which is capable of rapidly disintegrating in water or in the body, from a functional powder such as a powdered cleaning agent or a powdered medicine. The excipient of the present invention is an excipient for tableting a powder and characterized by containing: starch, crystalline cellulose, and one or more hardening agents selected from the group consisting of maltitol, isomalt, maltose, and lactose. Thus, the excipient of the present invention facilitates tableting of a powder by a conventional procedure. The resulting tablet has excellent solubility in water, and dissolves rapidly after the tablet is placed in water. In addition, the resulting tablet has excellent hardness and can generally retain a predetermined shape with little damage, such as chipping, caused by external forces applied during storage or transportation.
ALKALINE DETERGENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING A CARBOXYLIC ACID TERPOLYMER FOR HARD WATER SCALE CONTROL
A highly alkaline detergent is described which includes the use of a carboxylic acid terpolymer in combination with an alkali metal hydroxide. The detergent maintains cleaning functions and also prevents hard water scaling at application temperatures, for example at temperatures of between about 145-180 degrees Fahrenheit and, for example, at a pH of 9.5 to about 13.
Formulation aid
This invention relates to new formulation aids, as well as to the production thereof, to the uses thereof and to the formulations comprising them.
Foamable solid cleanser
A solid cleansing product including at least a first surfactant and a second surfactant present in a combined surfactant weight amount; at least a first buffering agent and a second buffering agent a present in a combined buffering agent weight amount; and magnesium sulfate; where the combined buffering agent weight amount is greater than the combined surfactant weight amount.
INTERCALATED BLEACH COMPOSITIONS, RELATED METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE
The invention relates to compositions, methods of use, and methods of manufacture for an intercalated bleach compound and compositions thereof. The intercalated bleach compound has the formula M.sub.x(OCl).sub.y(O).sub.m(OH).sub.n where M is an alkaline earth metal such as magnesium, calcium or mixture thereof. The values of x and y independently equal any number greater than or equal to 1 (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), and m and n independently equal any number greater than or equal to 0 (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), but m and n are not both 0. In addition, the molar ratio of the alkaline earth metal (e.g., magnesium or calcium) to hypochlorite is at least 3:1. In other words, x is 3y. The compounds exhibit excellent stability, little or no chlorine bleach odor, exhibit excellent pH buffering characteristics, and less reactivity with organic materials as compared to alternative chlorine bleach products.
