Cleaning systems employing detergent compositions in combination with builders comprising alkalinity and chelants are provided. The detergent compositions include amine oxide surfactant and alcohol ethoxylate surfactant blends having a mixture of chain lengths and branching provided. The detergent compositions are particularly efficacious for flexible cleaning systems for cosmetic and other soils as they provide the benefit of separate dosing of surfactants in the detergent from alkalinity sources in a builder composition. Methods of using the detergent compositions and/or the cleaning systems are provided.

TREATMENT OF SULFIDE SCALES

Treating a sulfide scale includes contacting the sulfide scale with an oxidizing composition that includes a first oxidizer and a second oxidizer.

METHOD OF CLEANING OXIDATION OVEN AND METHOD OF PRODUCING OXIDIZED FIBER, CARBON FIBER, AND GRAPHITIZED FIBER

A method of cleaning an oxidation oven that subjects a polyacrylonitrile-based precursor fiber for carbon fiber to an oxidation treatment in an oxidizing atmosphere, wherein the oxidation oven has a mechanism for circulating an oxidizing gas internally, the method including the steps of: causing a liquid to come in contact with dust adhering to a wall surface of the oxidation oven so that pressure in a direction perpendicular to the wall surface is 2 MPa or more; discharging the liquid out of the oxidation oven to discharge dust peeled off from the wall surface out of the oxidation oven; and circulating an oxidizing gas having a temperature of 40 C. or higher in the oxidation oven.

Petroleum distillates with increased solvency
10577563 · 2020-03-03 · ·

Certain fatty acid amide-based surfactants such as cocamide DEA (also known as coco(nut) diethanolamide or coco(nut) DEA) when dissolved or dispersed in a cutting oil (diesel, light cycle oil, naphtha, and such other petroleum distillates) produce a petroleum distillate having significantly enhanced solvency for heavy residuals. Such solutions or dispersions are especially useful for cleaning vessels and similar equipment in refineries by circulating the solution or dispersion in the vessel, optionally with the application of heat.

Equipment cleaning system and method

A cleaning system and method uses a tank holding a fluid detergent and an equipment assembly formed from a plurality of discrete components joined together. One or more ultrasound transducers remove one or more deposits on the equipment assembly by generating and propagating high frequency ultrasound waves into the fluid detergent while the equipment assembly is in contact with the fluid detergent.
