Gypsum remover
Contemplated compositions and methods for treating in service concrete includes the step of contacting a portion of the in service concrete with an composition, wherein the composition comprises a base and at least one of an acid and a salt of an acid in an amount effective to convert insoluble calcium salts into soluble calcium gluconates that can be washed away with water or other liquid.
Method of fighting surface microorganisms
The invention relates to a method for fighting mold, algae, and other microorganisms on various wall, floor, or ceiling surfaces infested with said organisms, and on masonry in general. The method comprises the following steps carried out consecutively: applying a first solution to the infested surface, wherein the first solution contains at least one surfactant compound; applying at least once a second solution that was basified by means of caustic soda to the infested surface, wherein the solution contains at least one hypochlorite compound; applying a third solution to the infested surface, wherein the solution contains at least hydrogen peroxide and lactic acid as active substances, and wherein the application of the third solution is continued until the foam formation on the infested surface has ended; applying a fourth solution to the infested surface, wherein the solution contains at least one quaternary ammonium compound.
USE OF POLYSACCHARIDE MICROGELS IN DETERGENTS
The proposed cluster of inventions relates to chemical industry, in particular to compositions of and additives in detergents designed for household, professional or personal use, to be used at home or industrially. The essence of this cluster of inventions lays in the use of polysaccharide microgels as an additive or the base in detergents, in particular as an antiresorption agent, thickener, or an agent for reducing surface tension at the interphase boundary, including also composition of detergents with polysaccharide microgels. The technological result of the application of these inventions is reduction of the quantity of surfactants in the detergent, while its detergency is no affected, which raises their ecological value and safety for the final users.
Clean toilet and accessories
A toilet that includes a bowl; a tank having a sidewall and a bottom defining a reservoir; a container located inside the reservoir and configured to contain a chemical compound that mixes with water to form a cleaning compound; a connector for coupling the container to the sidewall; and a flush valve. The connector has a bracket coupled to the container, a threaded protrusion that extends from the bracket into a hole in the sidewall of the tank, and a threaded fastener having a threaded body and a head, which is larger radially than the threaded body such that the head contacts an outside of the sidewall in a secured position in which the threaded body threads to the threaded protrusion. The flush valve is fluidly connected to the container to introduce the cleaning compound into the bowl through an outlet in the bottom during a cleaning cycle.
CLEAN TOILET AND ACCESSORIES
A toilet that includes a tank configured to hold water from a water supply; a reservoir fluidly connected to the tank and configured to hold a cleaning compound comprising a chemical compound and water from the water supply; and an actuator configured to control a flush cycle of the toilet upon a first activation, the actuator including at least one nozzle fluidly connected to the reservoir and configured to discharge an amount of the cleaning compound external to the tank upon at least one of the first activation or a second activation.
METHODS AND CLEANING SOLUTIONS FOR REMOVING CHEWING GUM AND OTHER STICKY FOOD SUBSTANCES
Cleaning compositions and methods for removing chewing gum, its components and other sticky soils from surfaces, especially production facilities, are disclosed. Cleaning composition solutions that do not require a rinse step are disclosed and suitable for treatment of surfaces having indirect food contact. In an aspect, the cleaning compositions and methods employ a scraping-spraying-wiping procedure.
Material restoration composition and method
A method of restoring a material surface utilizes a first composition (referred to herein as Composition A) and a second composition (referred to herein as Composition B). Methodologies guide application of Composition A and optionally Composition B to enact various restoration advantages to existing or new material surfaces. Composition A may be first applied to a material surface to remove surface contaminants and lift stains. During the described methodology, a user must wait a predetermined amount of time for Composition A to permeate the material surface. Optionally, Composition B may be subsequently applied to bond voids and damages areas of the material surface, or to add a new surface altogether above the original surface. A user may wait a predetermined amount of time for Composition B to cure.
Non-caustic cleaning compositions and uses thereof
Disclosed are detergent compositions and methods of cleaning articles and/or membranes using the surfactants herein. Compounds, compositions, and methods for using these compounds and compositions in detergent or cleaning compositions are also provided. These compounds, compositions, and methods are particularly directed to cleaning compositions and methods that have advantageous cleaning properties at a pH of 7 or less. In particular, the compounds, compositions, and methods described herein can also be used as general surfactants in detergent compositions or in methods of cleaning articles or membranes.
HARD SURFACE CLEANING COMPOSITIONS WITH REDUCED SURFACE TENSION
The disclosure relates to hard surface cleaning compositions, methods of making the hard surface cleaning compositions, and methods of using the hard surface cleaning compositions. In particular, the hard surface cleaning compositions have reduced surface tension for cleaning surfaces with low surface free energy. Preferably, the hard surface cleaning compositions have low contact angles on a variety of surfaces.
Cleaning composition
An aqueous cleaning composition comprising: a) from 0.01 to 0.5% by weight of the composition of a controlled-emulsification system having a turbidity of less than 500, as measured in a homogenized aqueous solution comprising 0.003% by weight of the solution of canola oil and 0.5% by weight of the solution of the controlled-emulsification system; b) a shine polymer comprising at least one monomer comprising a substantially planar 5-7 membered ring, said monomer preferably being selected from the group consisting of vinylpyrrolidone, vinylimidazoline, maleimide, styrene sulfonate and vinylcaprolactam; and c) optionally an antimicrobial agent.
