SYSTEM FOR ROBOT-ASSISTED ULTRASOUND SCANNING
A system for robot-assisted ultrasound scanning comprises a multi axis robot with an end effector, a transducer holding element for connecting an ultrasound transducer to the end effector, a user input arrangement having at least three separate proportional inputs representing desired ultrasound transducer displacement along X, Y and Z axes of an orthogonal coordinate system defining the ultrasound transducer motion, and a controller which is connected to the user input arrangement and which controls the end effector based on input. The controller acquires a 3D model of a surface to be scanned and is arranged to continuously update the orthogonal coordinate system defining the ultrasound transducer motion as the ultrasound transducer moves, the X, Y and Z axes are arranged as described. In this way, the operator can easily move the transducer along the surface of the area to be scanned.
ULTRASOUND IMAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SELECTING AN ANGULAR RANGE FOR FLOW-MODE IMAGES
An ultrasound imaging system and method for flow-mode imaging. A method of ultrasound imaging includes displaying an initial ultrasound image, receiving a selection of a flow region through a user interface, and receiving a selection of an angular range through the user interface. The method includes displaying a flow-mode image on the display device after receiving both the selection of the flow region and the selection of the angular range, wherein the flow-mode image represents flow information that is both within the flow region and within the selected angular range. Wherein the flow-mode image does not represent flow information that is either outside of the flow region or outside of the angular range.
Blood vessel obstruction diagnosis method, apparatus and system
The present disclosure relates to a method and system for diagnosing blood vessel obstruction, such as would occur in deep vein thrombosis (DVT). More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a software tool for use with sensor hardware to allow users to perform standardised and repeatable testing of patients to assist with diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis or related conditions. The present disclosure further relates to an apparatus and method for conducting the diagnosis. The apparatus includes an imaging probe and a computing device, where the computing device is configured to assist the user in placing the imaging probe on a blood vessel and moving the imaging probe between predetermined landmarks along the blood vessel.
Patient monitor, vital sign software control method, and program
A patient monitor that acquires and displays first vital sign information and second vital sign information of a subject includes an event detection unit that is configured to detect an activation start event for starting an activation process of biological information processing software which performs a process pertaining to the second vital sign information and an activating event for activating the biological information processing software and a software control unit that causes the biological information processing software to be in a standby state, in which a part of the activation process of the biological information processing software has been performed, when the activation start event is detected by the event detection unit, and causes the biological information processing software to be in an active state from the standby state when the activating event is detected by the event detection unit.
Systems and methods of establishing a communication session for live review of ultrasound scanning
An application running in a mobile device displays an ultrasound image obtained by a connected ultrasound scanner. A button is displayed on the device, which, when activated, automatically connects the device to a remote reviewer in a virtual videoconferencing room, without the operator of the scanner needing to input user credentials. Upon activating the button, or otherwise triggering the request for a review, pre-stored login credentials are automatically retrieved and used for connecting the operator to the room. The remote reviewer may be connected to the room upon accepting the request for review, without having to input user credentials, which are pre-stored and automatically retrieved.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRESENTING DYNAMICALLY UPDATED VISUAL FEEDBACK AT A MAIN DISPLAY BASED ON TOUCH PANEL CONTROL INTERACTION
A system and method for detecting user interaction with a touch panel control of an ultrasound system and providing visual feedback at a main display identifying the control corresponding to the user interaction is provided. The method includes receiving a detection signal from a touch panel in response to detection of a user in proximity to the touch panel. The detection signal corresponds with a location on the touch panel associated with a touch panel control. The method includes processing the detection signal to display a mirrored representation of the touch panel control in a dedicated area of the main display of the display system. The method includes receiving an actuation signal from the touch panel in response to a user selection at the touch panel. The method includes processing the actuation signal to adjust a setting value of the ultrasound system associated with the touch panel control.
ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, AND PROCESSOR FOR ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS
In an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus (1), a normal screen display mode in which an ultrasound image and an operation panel for operating the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus (1) are displayed on a monitor (24) is set until a first voice is recognized, and a transition mode for transition from the normal screen display mode to a full-screen display mode in which an operation of the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus (1) using a voice is possible and only the ultrasound image is displayed on the monitor (24) is set in a case where the first voice is recognized. Further, the full-screen display mode is set in a case where the voice is recognized in the transition mode. The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus (1) is returned from the full-screen display mode to the normal screen display mode in a case where a predetermined second voice different from the first voice is recognized in the full-screen display mode.
ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, AND PROCESSOR FOR ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

Non-Uniform Ultrasound Image Modification of Targeted Sub-Regions
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a non-uniform, targeted ultrasound image modification system. The system can image a target area using ultrasound and can determine one or more target locations within the target area. Further the system can determine a location and orientation of a medical device to overlay a trajectory onto the target area. A user can further modify the one or more target locations as needed. The user can then modify an image parameter for the target area, and can further modify an image parameter for one or more target locations independently of the target area. This allows a user to modify the image of the target location to suit the position, tissue structure, or a procedure taking place there without affecting the image quality of the rest of the target area, or other target locations.
