Cell printing apparatus for heat-sensitive cell printing composition

A cell printing apparatus of the present disclosure comprises a nozzle configured to discharge a heat-sensitive cell printing composition; and a heating unit for transferring heat to the upper side of the heat-sensitive cell printing composition which is discharged from the nozzle to be laminated. A predetermined space is formed between the heating unit and the nozzle so that the heating unit does not contact with the nozzle.

DEVICE FOR PRODUCING BIOGAS WITH HIGH METHANE CONTENT BY UTILIZING LIVESTOCK AND POULTRY FECES

The invention discloses a device for producing biogas with high methane content by utilizing livestock and poultry feces, wherein the interior of a tank body of a biogas fermentation tank is divided by a baffle, so as to form a main reaction chamber and an auxiliary reaction chamber which are communicated in upper portions, so that a reactant flows into the auxiliary reaction chamber only after entering the main reaction chamber via a relatively low feeding hole and then reaching a high position of a liquid level, and extension of fermentation time is realized, meanwhile, scales formed at the top of fermentation broth flow into the auxiliary reaction chamber along with liquid, so that the interior of the main reaction chamber keeps a liquid state all the time, and sealing and reduction of quantity of anaerobic bacteria are avoided.

System and method for producing algae

A system and method of growing and harvesting algae provided whereby the system encompasses incubation tanks, internal lighting, chilled air diffusers, and an inline incubation tank for continuous batch processing. A centrifuge separates algae from growth media, and the media is processed through a series of reclamation steps so that cleaned water is reused for fresh media.

LARGE SCALE MIXOTROPHIC PRODUCTION SYSTEMS

Systems for culturing mixotrophic microorganisms on a large scale in thermally stable open systems are disclosed. Embodiments of the system include features such as lit portions, dark portions, organic carbon delivery systems, gas delivery systems, submersible thrusters for mixing, and turning vanes for guiding fluid flow. Multi-functional embodiments of the turning vane provide guidance for fluid flow and other functions such as heat exchange, nutrient delivery, gas delivery, organic carbon delivery, delivery of light, and parameter measurement by sensors.

WATER BATH FOR HUMIDIFYING AN INTERIOR OF AN INCUBATOR

To avoid cleaning costs and to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, a water bath for use in incubators includes a profiled receiver, open at least at the upper face, preferably at the end faces and the upper face, with receiver surfaces extending in the longitudinal direction. A prefabricated disposable vessel for liquid open at the upper face includes vessel walls that lie flush on the receiver surfaces of the receiver. Fastenings are used fix the disposable vessel on the receiver. The water bath also includes a liquid supply, designed for filling the disposable vessel with liquid.

MIKROFLUIDISCHER CHIP WITH AN UNVENTED GAS CAVITY IN A MICROFLUIDIC CHIP
20210023553 · 2021-01-28 ·

An incubation segment in a microfluidic chip for microbiological assays, wherein said incubation segment is formed in a substrate with an upper major face and a lower major face, said segment includes an incubation well, an inlet channel through which a sample may be inputted into said incubation well, and a gas cavity connected to said incubation well by a microfluidic communication channel, wherein said gas cavity is unvented and the base of the gas cavity is connected to the base of the incubation well by the communication channel.

CELL CULTURE DEVICE

When detachment of a cell sheet from a culture dish has started at an unintended timing, immediately detach the cell sheet from the culture dish while preventing generation of wrinkles and the like in the cell sheet. A cell culture device captures an image of cells in the culture dish, and controls a cooling mechanism and a shaking mechanism based on the image so as to shake the cells while cooling them.

C.SUB.1 .substrate-fed fermentation systems and methods for producing C.SUB.4 .compounds

A fermenter can have at least one hollow fluid conduit disposed at least partially within a vessel. An external circumference of the hollow fluid conduit and an interior circumference of the vessel can define a downward flow path through which a multi-phase mixture including a liquid media and compressed gas substrate bubbles flows. An interior circumference of the hollow fluid conduit can defined an upward flow path which is in fluid communication with the downward flow path. The multi-phase liquid can flow through the upward flow path and exit the fermenter. Cooling may be provided in the hollow fluid conduit or the vessel. One or more backpressor generators can be used to maintain a backpressure on the fermenter. One or more fluid movers can be used to variously create an induced and/or forced flow in the downward and upward flow paths.

Large scale mixotrophic production systems

Bioreactor systems for culturing mixotrophic microorganisms in open cultures on a large scale are disclosed herein. Embodiments of the system comprise organic carbon delivery systems and submersible thrusters suspended on adjustable support structures.
