METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING SETTINGS OF AN ULTRASOUND SCANNER
During acquisition of an ultrasound image feed, ultrasound control data frames are acquired that may be interspersed amongst the ultrasound data frames. The control data frames may use consistent reference scan parameters, irrespective of the scanner settings, and may not need to be converted to image frames. The control data frames can be passed to an artificial intelligence model, which predicts the suitable settings for scanning the anatomy that is being scanned. The artificial intelligence model can be trained with a dataset containing different classes of ultrasound control data frames for different settings, where substantially all the ultrasound control data frames in the dataset are consistently acquired using the reference scan parameters.

A display processing unit combines the display frame data array and the diagnosis assisting data array while synchronizing the data arrays.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR USE OF ANALYSIS ASSISTANT DURING ULTRASOUND IMAGING
Systems and methods are provided for use of analysis assistant during ultrasound imaging. Database may be acquired on a medical imaging technique during medical imaging based examination of a patient; and one or more medical images may be generated, based on the acquired dataset, and displayed. An end-result associated with at least one medical image may be provided, when triggered analysis assistance relating to the end-result associated with the at least one medical image may be provided. Providing the analysis assistance may include, automatically: identifying one or more intermediate steps performed or used in obtaining or determining the end-result; determining for each of the one or more intermediate steps corresponding information; and providing to a user the determined information associated with each of the one or more intermediate steps.
Systems and methods for ultrasound review and imaging
A system for reviewing results of ultrasound examinations provides enhanced control over reviewed images. A review and imaging system receives additional data comprising one or more of additional ultrasound images generated using parameter settings different from those selected by and sonographer and earlier stage ultrasound data. An ultrasound machine may be configured to acquire and make the additional data available to the review and imaging system. The review and imaging system may provide a wide range of control options for obtaining optimized display of images based on the additional data.
Apparatus and method for characterization of a ductile membrane, surface, and sub-surface properties
An ultrasound signal processor uses an excitation generator to cause displacement of a membrane or surface while a series of ultrasound pulses are applied to the membrane or surface. Phase differences between a transmitted signal and received signal are examined to determine the movement of the membrane or surface in response to the applied excitation. An examination of the phase response of the membrane or surface provides a determination as to whether the fluid type behind the membrane or surface is one of: no fluid, serum fluid, or purulent fluid.

Aspects of the disclosed technology provide ways to detect the object of ultrasound scanning and to automatically, load system settings and image preferences necessary to generate high quality output images. In some aspects, an ultrasound system can be configured to perform steps including receiving a selection of a first transducer, identifying a body structure or organ based on a signal received in response to an activation of the first transducer, retrieving a first set of parameters corresponding with the body structure, and configuring the first transducer based on the first set of parameters. Methods and machine-readable media are also provided.
