Polynucleotides for treating oncogenic viral polypeptide positive tumors
This document relates to polynucleotides encoding antigenic polypeptides to induce an immune response to oncogenic viral polypeptides. Also provided are compositions comprising polynucleotides encoding antigenic polypeptides, and methods of use. In the provided methods, the virus can be a human papilloma virus. In some embodiments, a method for killing a cell expressing a first oncogenic viral polypeptide in a subject is provided. The method includes administering to the subject a composition in an amount sufficient to initiate an immune response against the first oncogenic viral peptide, where the composition comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a polynucleotide provided herein and the immune response is effective to cause a cytotoxic effect in the cell. In some embodiments, the polynucleotide includes a second nucleotide sequence encoding a second antigenic polypeptide. The first oncogenic viral polypeptide can be E6 and the second oncogenic viral polypeptide can be E7.
Therapy of cancer based on targeting adaptive, innate and/or regulatory component of the immune response
The invention relates to a kit of parts, suitable for use in a therapy of cancer, wherein said kit comprises: (i) a recombinant protein comprising one or several polypeptides bearing one or several epitopes of one or several tumor-associated antigens, said polypeptides being inserted in the same or different permissive sites of an adenylate cyclase (CyaA) protein or of a fragment thereof, wherein said CyaA fragment retains the property of said adenylate cyclase protein to target Antigen Presenting Cells or a mixture of such recombinant proteins wherein at least one of said epitopes, or tumor associated antigens, or insertion sites of CyaA protein, or fragment of said CyaA protein is different between the various recombinant proteins in the mixture; and said kit of parts further comprises at least one of the following compounds; (ii) an agent, suitable for modulating a regulatory immune response in a patient ad optionally; (iii) an adjuvant component suitable for activating the innate immune response in a patient.
Fusion polypeptide for immuno-enhancement and method for enhancing stimulation of immune response using the same
A fusion polypeptide is disclosed, which includes: (a) a mucosa targeting polypeptide; (b) a translocating peptide for translocation; and (c) a antigenic epitope. In addition, a method for enhancing a stimulation of an immune response using the aforementioned fusion polypeptide is also disclosed.
NOVEL HPV16 NON HLA-RESTRICTED T-CELL VACCINES, COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Novel human papillomovirus immunogenic compositions and methods of use thereof are provided. The compositions comprise unique combinations of multi-epitope peptide sequences specifically selected and designed to be effectively processed and cross-presented to T-cells. The peptides utilized in the compositions display high levels of binding with HLA-supertypes. The immunogenic compositions are broadly applicable to large proportions of target populations. The compositions comprise adjuvants such as cationic lipids.
VIRUS-LIKE PARTICLE COMPOSITIONS AND VACCINES AGAINST EPSTEIN-BARR VIRUS INFECTION AND DISEASE
The present invention relates to prophylactic and/or therapeutic vaccines that contain Newcastle disease virus (NDV) virus-like particles (VLPs) comprising one or more Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) antigens. In one embodiment, the invention provides a recombinant virus-like particle (VLP) comprising, in operable combination, a) Newcastle disease virus (NDV) matrix (M) protein, and b) one or more Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) antigens. The invention's prophylactic and/or therapeutic vaccines are useful for preventing and/or treating infection with EBV and/or disease associated Epstein-Barr Virus, such as cancer.
Vaccines against HPV
The present invention relates to therapeutic compounds, such as vaccines against human papillomavirus (HPV) and in particular to DNA vaccines against HPV16 or HPV18. The invention further relates to protein construct encoding homodimeric peptides, which peptides may be released from a DNA vaccine or used separately. Further described are pharmaceutical formulations, host cells and methods for producing the vaccines, as well as methods for the treatment of various HPV induced diseases, such as cancers and infectious diseases by application.

The invention concerns a method of generating an immune response in a subject, comprising administering to the subject an antigenic molecule, a photosensitizing agent, a checkpoint inhibitor, and irradiating said subject with light of a wavelength effective to activate the photosensitizing agent to generate an immune response.
