TRIPLE VACCINE AGAINST AVIBACTERIUM PARAGALLINARUM AND AVIAN ENCEPHALOMYELITIS VIRUS AND FOWL POX VIRUS
The present invention relates i.a. to an immunogenic composition comprising: a) one or more antigens of avibacterium paragallinarum and one or more antigens of avian encephalomyelitis virus and one or more antigens of fowl pox virus; and b) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Furthermore, the present invention relates to methods for immunizing a subject comprising administering to such subject the immunogenic composition of the present invention. Moreover, the present invention relates to methods of treating or preventing clinical signs caused by avibacterium paragallinarum, avian encephalomyelitis virus and fowl pox virus in a subject of need, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an immunogenic composition according to the present invention.
NEW ONCOLYTIC VIRUS PLATFORM TO TREAT CANCERS WITH MYXOMA VIRUS
Disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, are recombinant myxoma viruses (MYXVs) and nucleic acid constructs encoding the recombinant MYXVs. In some embodiments, the MYXVs are engineered to inactivate or attenuate an activity or expression level of an M153 protein. In some embodiments, the MYXVs are engineered to express one or more transgenes such as a tumor necrosis factor (TNF), interleukin-12 (IL-12), or decorin. Also disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, are methods of using the MYXVs. Some embodiments include providing a MYXV as described herein to a subject in need thereof.
ST-246 liquid formulations and methods
The present invention provides for a novel liquid formulation for solubilizing poorly soluble ST-246 in cyclodextrins and a novel process of making the formulation.
VIRAL FUSION PROTEIN TREATMENT FOR CCR8 MEDIATED DISEASES
Compositions, methods, and kits are provided for treating CCR8 mediated diseases with applicability to atopic dermatitis and potential applicability to asthma, prurigo nodularis, nummular dermatitis, neurodermatitis, and lichen simplex chronicus and some lymphomas, multiple sclerosis, acquired immunodeficiency disease, peritoneal adhesions, Kaposi's sarcoma and atherogenesisthe expression of all of which, at least in part, is mediated by cells expressing the chemokine receptor CCR8. The compositions include proteins and fusion proteins from Molluscum contagiosum Virus (MCV) or variants, analogs and derivatives thereof which exhibit inhibitory activity. Examples of such MCV proteins are MC148 fusion protein (MC148fp) identified as MC148P-TAT-6xHis (6xHis disclosed as SEQ ID NO: 11), and its variants, fragments, analogs and derivatives which possess inhibitory activity. The variants, fragments, analogs and derivatives of MC148p and of MC148fp may be less than 100% homologous to MCV proteins as long as they are sufficiently homologous that inhibitory activity is preserved.
Thermostable vaccines based on ether lipids and native viral envelope proteins
A platform enabling the manufacture of thermostable vaccines by incorporating recombinantly expressed, viral envelope proteins in their native conformation into ether glycerophospholipid nanodisc structures that simulate the natural environment of the envelope proteins. The ether glycerophospholipids include ether-linked hydrophobic side chains, and are derived from or modeled after those found in thermophile bacteria, which increase thermostability, thereby significantly enhancing the vaccine's potency, enabling the production of highly multivalent vaccines incorporating multiple variants of the viral antigen, and improving stability and shelf-life.
NYVAC-BASED PLASMODIUM MALARIA VACCINE
The disclosure generally provides a WRrNYVAC comprising multiple antigens from different stages of a malaria parasite (Plasmodium) life cycle, methods for producing them, immunogenic vaccine formulations comprising WRrNYVAC, such as P. vivax containing formulations (WRPvrNYVAC) and P. falciparum containing formulations (WRPfrNYVAC) and methods for the prevention and/or treatment of malaria infections and poxvirus infections.
ST-246 LIQUID FORMULATIONS AND METHODS
The present invention provides for a novel liquid formulation for solubilizing poorly soluble ST-246 in cyclodextrins and a novel process of making the formulation.
METHOD FOR AUGMENTING VISION IN PERSONS SUFFERING FROM PHOTORECEPTOR CELL DEGENERATION
The invention provides compositions and methods of treating subjects afflicted with a photoreceptor disorder. Methods for treating a subject suffering from a disorder characterized by photoreceptor cell degeneration are provided, wherein a gene encoding a photosensitive protein is introduced into a retinal cell of a subject. In one aspect of the invention, the retinal cells which receive the photosensitive protein include non-photoreceptor cells such as horizontal cells, amacrine cells, bipolar cells, and ganglion cells.
NOVEL DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM BASED ON JCV-VLP
The invention relates to VLP derived from human polyoma virus loaded with a drug (cargo) as a drug delivery system for transporting said drug into the CNS, in particular of living humans.
