Method of producing an immunogenic composition

The present invention in particular relates to a method of producing an immunogenic composition exhibiting reduced virucidal activity, as well as to the immunogenic composition and uses thereof, wherein the method in particular comprises the steps of: (a) providing a mixture with a first liquid and a recombinant protein, (b) concentrating the recombinant protein in the mixture by removing a portion of the first liquid from the mixture, and (c) processing the solution resulting from step (b) by continuous diafiltration.

Porcine circovirus type 3 immunogenic compositions and methods of making and using the same

A new species of circovirus, porcine circovirus type 3 (PCV3), was identified from sows with clinical symptoms normally associated with porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) infection and in aborted fetuses. Molecular and serological analysis suggest PCV3 commonly circulates in U.S. swine. The present disclosure provides immunological compositions and methods related to the production and administration of such compositions.

The present invention relates to novel recombinant swinepox viruses and their use in vaccine compositions. The recombinant swinepox viruses of the invention are doubly defective for IL18bp and TK genes, and comprise at least one foreign gene cloned into defective TK gene sequence. The invention is particularly suited to produce swine vaccines, particularly for vaccinating swine against PCV2 infection.

VACCINE TREATMENT AND CONTROL INFECTIOUS THAN PATOLOGIAS UTILIZING HEPARAN SULFATE (HS) AS CELLULAR RECEPTOR

Vaccine of preferential administration via mucous membranes, for the control of diseases generated by infectious agents that use heparan sulfate (HS) as a cellular receptor consisting of an immunogenic formulation for veterinary use, comprising an antigen whose cellular receptor is heparan sulfate (HS), a vehicle for oral, intranasal or parenteral administration, wherein said vehicle corresponds to D-glucosamine and functionalized N-acetyl-D-glucosamine biopolymers, with sulfur atoms, and/or functionalized chitosan biopolymer, with sulfur atoms, and where the antigen is microencapsulated by said types of functionalized biopolymers.

PCV/MYCOPLASMA HYOPNEUMONIAE VACCINE FOR USE WITH PRRSV VACCINE

This invention provides a combination of a first vaccine comprising a porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) antigen and a Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (M. hyo) culture supernatant and a second vaccine comprising a porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus antigen, for treating an animal against an infection with PCV2, an infection with M. hyo, and an infection with PRRS virus, wherein the M. hyo culture supernatant has been separated from insoluble cellular material and is substantially free of both IgG and immunocomplexes comprised of antigen bound to immunoglobulin.

ORAL VACCINE COMPOSITION

A method of easily producing an immunogenic pupa for oral administration and a pupa for oral administration produced by the method are provided. The method is a method of producing a pupa for oral administration, including a step of infecting a larva or pupa of an insect capable of being baculovirus-infected with a recombinant baculovirus having DNA encoding an antigen protein introduced therein and freeze-drying a pupa having pupated from the infected larva or the infected pupa.

MARKER SYSTEM, IN PARTICULAR FOR BACULOVIRUS-EXPRESSED SUBUNIT ANTIGENS

The present invention belongs to the field of compliance markers and marker vaccines which allow for the differentiation between infected and vaccinated individuals. In particular, it relates to a method of determining whether an individual has received an immunogenic composition comprising a recombinant protein produced by a baculovirus expression system in cultured insect cells.

MYCOPLASMA HYOPNEUMONIAE VACCINE

This invention provides a protein-A or protein-G treated Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (M.hyo) antigen that is compatible with antigens from other swine pathogens, wherein the M.hyo antigen is an M.hyo culture supernatant.

The present invention provides combination vaccines that comprise an immunological agent effective for reducing the incidence of or lessening the severity of PPE caused by L. intracellularis, and one or more immunological active components effective in treatment and/or prophylaxis of at least one further disease-causing organism for swine. Moreover, the present invention also relates to a kit that comprises an immunological agent effective for reducing the incidence of or lessening the severity of PPE caused by L. intracellularis, and one or more immunological active components effective in treatment and/or prophylaxis of at least one further disease-causing organism for swine.

A COMBINATION VACCINE AGAINST PCV2 VIRUS AND MYCOPLASMA HYOPNEUMONIAE INFECTION

The present invention pertains to a vaccine comprising in combination non-replicating immunogen of porcine circo virus type 2 and non-replicating immunogen of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and an adjuvant containing a nano-emulsion of mineral oil in water, for use in prophylactically treating an animal against an infection with porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) and an infection with Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae by administration of the vaccine into the dermis of the animal.
