A microdermabrasion system includes an applicator tool including a central handle portion with a treatment tip at a distal end of the handle, where the treatment tip includes an abrading surface formed on a front surface of the tip. A proximal end of the elongated handle is coupled to first and second arms, forming an opening in the hand piece through which a user can insert one or more fingers. The handle supports a bottom side of a user's finger while the user grips the handle. In an implementation, the handle includes an indentation for at least one finger. In an implementation, the treatment tip is removable and replaceable.

Disclosed is a medical device that is capable of grasping multiple sites of one object or multiple objects simultaneously. The medical device includes a platform and a plurality of pincer sets that are attached to the platform. The plurality of pincer sets extend from the platform at varied lengths and at individually operable. Accordingly, a plurality of surgical sites are grasped simultaneously and independently using multiple pincer sets.

UTERINE FIBROID TISSUE REMOVAL DEVICE

A uterine fibroid tissue removal device includes an inner tube disposed within an outer tube and configured to be translated and rotated relative to the outer tube, and a separately formed unitary distal tip member attached to a distal end of the inner tube, such that the distal tip member translates and rotates relative to the outer tube along with the inner tube, wherein a distal facing open cutting end of the distal tip member in fluid communication with an axial lumen of the distal tip member translates across a tissue resection window in a sidewall of the outer tube so as to sever tissue extending therethrough, the distal tip member axial lumen being in fluid communication with an axial lumen of the inner tube, wherein an outer diameter of the distal tip member is greater than an outer diameter of the inner tube.

Multi-actuated micro-pipette controller and associated use thereof

A multi-actuated micro-pipette controller is actuated in at least three different ways. First, the multi-actuated micro-pipette controller may be employed similar to a striper for denudation of cumulus cells and transfer of oocytes and embryos by depressing an actuator assembly operably coupled to a ballonet. Second, the multi-actuated micro-pipette controller may be actuated similar to a SWEMED™ denudation pipette by pressing directly on the ballonet while it is seated in a primary housing and a secondary housing, without employing an actuator assembly of the primary housing. Third, the multi-actuated micro-pipette controller may be actuated by removing the ballonet and employing it similar to a PASTEUR™ pipette.

BONE ANCHOR DELIVERY SYSTEM DEVICE AND METHOD WITH IMPROVED HANDLE

A bone anchor delivery system device (10) has a retractable punch driver assembly and a locking mechanism (32). The punch driver assembly has a retractable punch shaft (30) and a guide (20) for receiving the retractable punch shaft (30). The guide (20) is rotatable relative to the punch shaft (30) and the shaft has an extended length with bone penetrating tip (35) at a first end (33). The locking mechanism (32) for locking the retractable punch shaft (30) from linear movement and rotational movement relative to the guide (20) is positioned at an opposite second end. The retractable punch shaft (30) has a reduced diameter end (33) extending from the tip (35) toward a shoulder stop for receiving a releasable punch (12). The releasable punch (12) has a hollow opening for receiving the reduced diameter end (33) of the punch shaft (30). The punch (12) is profiled to pierce and form a bone anchor hole.

Snakelike surgical instrument

A snakelike surgical instrument, comprising a handheld structure (2); an manipulating structure (1) comprising an outer frame (13) hingedly connected to the handheld structure (2) so that the manipulating structure (1) has a rotational degree of freedom (R1′) around a first axis and an inner frame (14) hingedly connected to the outer frame (13) so that the manipulating structure (1) has a rotational degree of freedom (R2′) around a second axis, the first axis and the second axis forming an angle; an end unit (4) connected to the handheld structure (2) by means of a connecting component (3) and comprising a tool supporting base (41) and a snakelike structure (40) connected to the tool supporting base (41), the snakelike structure (40) having degrees of freedom of motion (R1, R2) in the same direction as the manipulating structure (1); and a transmission unit (5) comprising a flexible transmission structure connected to the inner frame (14) and the snakelike structure (40). A mechanical transmission mode is used by the snakelike surgical instrument, the motion of a handheld side can be directly transmitted to the end unit (4), complicated force feedback control is avoided, and control is simple.
