ERGONOMIC QUICK RELEASE PLASTIC DISPOSABLE BASE FOR MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS
The disclosure includes a connection method to connect a shaft to a body. The body and movable latch may be an integral single molded plastic part connected by a flexible. In operation actuating the movable latch to raise or lower a latching beak within a corresponding open guide in the plastic body. A shaft into a shaft guide in the body which intersects the beak guide to temporarily latching the shaft to the body via a mounting fixture the shaft with the beak; and, wherein the body has a face end and a tail end.
DISPOSABLE RASP FOR MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS
Disclosed are aspects of a hybrid plastic and co-molded metal cutting head and a method of forming same. The method includes forming a metal rasp head having a fluid pathway there through and molding an elongated body with support into the rasp head via said fluid pathway wherein the fluid pathway branching into one or more sides.
Medical Instrument
A medical instrument is provided with a first arm extending in a longitudinal direction and having a grip area between a rear end and a front working end. At least two elongated holes are formed in the grip area, which are arranged offset to each other in the longitudinal direction.
SURGICAL DRILL GUIDE
Drill guides are disclosed herein that include a tapered projection that hooks under a bone to position the drill guide relative to the bone. The drill guide is used to drill a hole that receives a suture anchor.
GRASPABLE SURGICAL DEVICE
A system for adapting a tubular surgical device for grasping by a surgical instrument is provided that has a distal portion, an adaptor positioned proximally and configured to be disposed about or within a lumen of the tubular surgical device, which has an effective durometer to resist crushing by the surgical instrument. In some embodiments, the adaptor is configured with an external diameter greater than the internal diameter of the lumen of the tubular surgical device. In some embodiments, the adaptor is configured with an external diameter less than or equal to the internal diameter of the tubular surgical device.
Plating processing method of gripping surface of gripping tool, and gripping tool
A plating processing method of a gripping surface of a gripping tool includes: temporarily and evenly fixing a plurality of first diamond grains having a uniform first grain diameter; adhering the first diamond grains by depositing a metal containing nickel on a gripping surface in a uniform thickness after the first diamond grains have been temporarily fixed; placing a plurality of second diamond grains having a second grain diameter on a metal surface of the gripping surface on which first diamond grains are not present; and adhering the second diamond grains by further depositing a metal containing nickel within a second plating solution on the metal surface in a uniform thickness that does not exceed the first diameter grain and the second diameter grain until a position relationship between the metal surface and the second diamond grains is not displaced even when the gripping tool is moved.
Piercing forceps
A piercing forceps includes a dynamic handle and an L-shaped static handle connected to the dynamic handle. The static handle supports a primary slide with a clamping end and a secondary slide supporting needles. The dynamic handle may be operated to bring a distal end of the primary slide toward a distal end of the static handle to provide a tissue clamp. A trigger supported by the static handle may be operated to bring a distal end of the secondary slide toward the distal end of the static handle and primary slide, thus resulting in the needles of the secondary slide distally extending from the secondary slide to pierce tissue clamped between the static handle and primary slide. As a result, the tissue can be secured by being clamped between the static handle and primary slide, as well as by the needles of the secondary slide being inserted therethrough.
Medical observation apparatus
There is provided a wearable medical observation apparatus used by being worn on a head of a user, including: a first observation section having a configuration enabling a first observation of an observation target through an optical system including at least an objective lens; a second observation section having a configuration enabling a second observation of an observation target by a first medical observation image in which the observation target is imaged by a first imaging device; and a control section configured to control an observation state of the observation target.
Actuator Support Structure for Surgical Stapler
A surgical stapler includes first and second elongate members, a clamp member, and a firing assembly. The second elongate member is configured to receive a staple cartridge. The clamp member is operable to releasably clamp the first elongate member against the second elongate member. The firing assembly is translatable to fire the staple cartridge. The firing assembly includes a slider and an actuator configured to be selectively actuated by a user. The slider includes inner and outer engagement features. The actuator includes inner and outer engagement features. The inner engagement feature of the actuator is configured to engage with the inner engagement feature of the slider at a first interface when the actuator moves relative to the slider. The outer engagement feature of the actuator is configured to engage the outer engagement feature of the slider at a second interface when the actuator moves relative to the slider.
Actuator Retainer for Surgical Stapler
A surgical stapler includes a first elongate member, a second elongate member, a clamp member, and a firing assembly. The first elongate member includes a distal portion that supports an anvil surface that includes a plurality of staple forming pockets. The second elongate member includes a distal portion that is configured to receive a staple cartridge. The clamp member is operable to releasably clamp the first elongate member against the second elongate member. The firing assembly is translatable from a first longitudinal position to a second longitudinal position to fire the staple cartridge. The firing assembly includes a slider and an actuator. The slider includes a first coupling feature. The actuator is configured to be selectively actuated by a user. The actuator includes a second coupling feature that is configured to generally surround the first coupling feature of the slider when the actuator moves relative to the slider.
