DEVICES AND METHODS FOR CLOSURE OF TRANSVASCULAR OR TRANSCAMERAL ACCESS PORTS

The present disclosure provides a variety of prostheses, delivery systems and techniques to facilitate closure of transvascular or transcameral access ports. Various embodiments of prostheses are provided including a plurality of radially expandable discs that can be filled with material to facilitate coagulation and to reduce or stop leakage from punctures in vessel walls.

INFLATABLE BARIATRIC CLAMP

A bariatric clamp may include substrate members overmolded in polymer forming first and second elongated portions, a bight portion having a flexible hinge, one or more inflatable portions disposed at least partially along interior sections of the first and second elongated portions; and a port coupled to at least one of the inflatable portions and configured to adjust inflation of the inflatable portions. The inflatable portions are provided to assist in retaining the clamp in a closed position to partition the stomach and to adjust a pressure of the clamp when partitioning the stomach.

Apparatus and methods for sealing a vascular puncture

An apparatus for sealing a puncture includes a positioning member including a proximal end, a distal end sized for insertion into a puncture, an expandable element on the distal end, and a tension indicator on the proximal end. The tension indicator includes a distal housing portion fixed relative to the proximal end, and a proximal housing portion or handle movable proximally relative to the distal housing portion. The handle is biased towards the distal housing portion such that, when sufficient tensile force is applied between the expandable element and the handle, the handle moves away from the distal housing portion. During use, the distal end is introduced through a puncture into a vessel, the expandable element is expanded, and the positioning member is partially withdrawn until the expanded element contacts a wall of the vessel and the handle separates from the distal housing portion, indicating that sufficient tension is applied.

TISSUE GRASPING DEVICES AND RELATED METHODS

A prosthetic device for sealing a native heart valves to prevent or reduce regurgitation comprises a spacer having one or more anchors. The spacer may also have atrial support structures, ventricular support structures, or both atrial and ventricular support structures In some cases, the spacer has anchors that attach to the leaflets as well as atrial and ventricular support. In some cases, the spacer straddles the annulus and is located by anchors, and in some cases the support structures can be implanted within the native heart valve. In some cases, the prosthetic device reduces the annulus diameter when implanted within the native heart vasculature. In some cases, the prosthetic device cinches the annulus when implanted within the native heart vasculature.

Delivery systems for control of gastrointestinal bleeding

The present disclosure relates to a gastrointestinal delivery device of a dressing, where the delivery device is capable of fitting through a narrow channel before expanding and applying the dressing. The gastrointestinal delivery device may be used in all gastrointestinal bleeding applications and can be used with a biocompatible, foldable, thin profile, chitosan dressing. Various aspects of the device and its uses are provided herein.

Multi-shield spinal access system

An access device for accessing an intervertebral disc having an outer shield comprising an access shield with a larger diameter (˜16-30 mm) that reaches from the skin down to the facet line, with an inner shield having a second smaller diameter (˜5-12 mm) extending past the access shield and reaches down to the disc level. This combines the benefits of the direct visual microsurgical/mini open approaches and the percutaneous, “ultra-MIS” techniques.

GASTRIC RESTRICTIVE DEVICE

A gastric restrictive device including two separate elongated rigid members, at least two elongated inflatable paddings respectively along the two elongated rigid members, at least one flexible and extendable hollow tube fluidly interconnecting the at least two elongated inflatable paddings at inner ends thereof, and a two-part interlocking mechanism at outer ends of the two elongated rigid members. The at least one flexible and extendable hollow tube being bendable to fold the two elongated rigid members towards each other into a closed configuration with the two elongated inflatable paddings parallel and opposing each other and with the two-part interlocking mechanism interlockable. The device is attachable to a stomach and the at least two elongated inflatable paddings are inflatable by injecting fluid through the at least one flexible and extendable hollow tube for partially restricting the stomach without damaging the stomach tissue and with maintaining normal physiological functions of the stomach.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR RETRACTING PROSTATIC TISSUE OF A PATIENT

Implantable devices for retracting prostatic tissue of a patient are provided. In some embodiments, an implantable device may include a main body and a suture extending through at least a portion of the main body. The main body may be configured to extend through prostatic tissue of the patient such that a distal end portion of the main body resides at least partially outside of a prostatic capsule of the patient, and the distal end portion may be configured to deform from an undeformed configuration to a deformed configuration. The suture may include a first end and a second end extending from a proximal end of the main body, and the suture may be configured to cause the distal end portion to deform from the undeformed configuration to the deformed configuration when the first end and the second end are pulled proximally relative to the main body.
