Occluder and Occlusion System

The present application provides an occluder, for use in occluding a defect in a vascular system. The occluder comprises a first occlusion disc, a second occlusion disc, and a tightening wire; the first occlusion disc and the second occlusion disc are used for covering different openings of a defect, respectively; a connector is provided on the first occlusion disc; the connector is provided with a wire passing hole; the tightening wire passes through the wire passing hole of the connector; two ends of the tightening wire pass through the second occlusion disc, and form an adjustment wire knot on the side of the second occlusion disc facing away from the first occlusion disc; the distance between the first occlusion disc and the second occlusion disc can be adjusted by the ends of the tightening wire. The present application also provides an occlusion system having the occluder.

DOUBLE SIDED OCCLUSIVE DEVICE

This application discloses an occlusive device that includes a frame movable between a deliver condition and a blocking condition, the frame including a center region, a plurality of distal arms, a plurality of proximal arms, where both the distal and proximal arms curve away from the center region, with flexible sheet material couple to both the distal and proximal arms that block a lumen when the frame is in the blocking condition. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing the occlusive device and a medical device incorporating the occlusive device.

Embolization systems

Provided is a device for delivery into a body lumen having a longitudinally extending stem and a plurality of bristles extending generally radially outwardly from the stem. The device includes at least two different groups or types of bristles.

ARTERIAL-VENOUS OCCLUSION APPARATUS

Expandable occlusive plugs and methods of using them are disclosed. The devices generally include a tubular body bearing multiple slits defining leaves, which expand radially outward when the ends of the device are brought toward one another.

Vessel Occluder

A vessel occluder used to occlude blood flow within the vasculature is described. The vessel occluder can include an expandable mesh portion having a flexible membrane that expands within a cavity of the expandable mesh portion. When expanded, the flexible membrane blocks blood passage through the mesh portion.

Device for closing openings or cavities in blood vessels

The device for closing openings or cavities in blood vessels, e.g. in veins or in the heart, said device comprises a closing body comprising an outer side having a partial region arranged for blood flow therealong at least in a part of said partial region thereof when said closing body is in its state of use for closing said opening or cavity. Furthermore, the device comprises at least one layer (16) of biostable nonwoven fiber material, which at least within a partial surface of said partial region of said outer side of the closing body is at least partially in abutment on the closing body.

Closing device for tissue openings

There are shown and described embodiments of a closure device for closing holes in tissue, for example in the right atrial appendage. The closure device in particular embodiments includes first and second mesh closure members and a tether or stem connecting them. Embodiments of a delivery device for the closure device are also described.

TRANSCATHETER VALVE DELIVERY SYSTEM WITH SEPTUM HOLE CLOSURE TIP ASSEMBLY
20170348096 · 2017-12-07 ·

Transcatheter heart valve delivery systems having a tip assembly configured to close the hole or perforation made in a patient's septal wall after transseptal delivery of a stented prosthetic heart valve to a defective heart valve (e.g., a mitral valve). The delivery device is configured to permit in vivo release of the tip assembly immediately after deployment of the stented prosthetic heart valve to implant the tip assembly into the septal wall proximate the hole through which the stented prosthetic heart valve is delivered. Methods of treating the defective heart valve, including closing the hole made during transseptal delivery of the stented prosthetic heart valve with the tip assembly of the delivery device are also disclosed.

ENDOSCOPIC PATCH APPLICATOR

A medical dispensing device which includes a catheter, an applicator tip at a distal end of the catheter, the catheter and the applicator tip defining a lumen having a longitudinal axis and a distal opening, a plunger in the lumen and movable along the longitudinal axis, and a plurality of elements in the lumen proximal to the distal opening and distal to the plunger, the plurality of elements stacked along the longitudinal axis for dispersement of one element at a time through the distal opening via a force applied by the plunger.

Variably bulbous vascular treatment devices

Vascular treatment and methods include a plurality of self-expanding bulbs and a hypotube including interspersed patterns of longitudinally spaced rows of kerfs. Joints between woven structures and hypotubes include solder. Woven structures include patterns of radiopaque filaments measureable under x-ray. Structures are heat treated to include at least shapes at different temperatures. A catheter includes a hypotube including interspersed patterns of longitudinally spaced rows of kerfs. Heat treating systems include a detachable flange. Laser cutting systems include a fluid flow system.
