The present disclosure provides a new mutant of Bacillus thuringiensis which is deposited under Accession number DSM 32419. The present disclosure also provides a method for manufacturing a growth promoter for promoting microalgal cell growth, including: (a) inoculating a mutant of Bacillus thuringiensis into a culturing medium to obtain a bacterial suspension, wherein the mutant of Bacillus thuringiensis is deposited under Accession number DSM 32419; (b) culturing the mutant of Bacillus thuringiensis in the bacterial suspension at least to a stationary phase to obtain a cultured medium of the mutant of Bacillus thuringiensis; and (c) performing a vacuum heating procedure on the cultured medium of the mutant of Bacillus thuringiensis to obtain the growth promoter for promoting microalgal cell growth, wherein the growth promoter for promoting microalgal cell growth contains active substances for promoting microalgal cell growth.
BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS NOVONEST4 AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Strain of Bacillus thuringiensis novonest4 and applications thereof. The Bacillus thuringiensis is the Bacillus thuringiensis novonest4, with an Accession No. CCTCC NO: M2018443. The strain is firstly reported to have both the effect of preventing and controlling lepidoptera pests after foilar application and the effects of degrading carbendazim, promoting crop growth and increasing crop yield after soil application, and has wide application prospects in agricultural production.
BIOPESTICIDES
The present invention relates to Bacillus thuringiensis strains which are phenotypically stable and have increased virulence compared to the wild-type strains, whereby the increased virulence has been achieved by the exposure of the strain to a mutagen during one or more passages. Such strains are particularly useful as biopesticides. Methods for increasing virulence in microbial pesticides are also described.
BACTERIAL GENES AND ISOLATES FOR CONFERRING INSECT RESISTANCE
Provided are biologically pure bacterial isolates characterized by a genome structure at least 90% similar to a genome structure of a bacterial species selected from the group consisting of: Streptomyces sp. E128 having an NRRL Accession No. B-67462, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens A190 having an NRRL Accession No. B-67464, Bacillus subtilis P243 having an NRRL Accession No. B-67459, Bacillus thuringiensis M979 having an NRRL Accession No. B-67457, Massilia aurea P63 having an NRRL Accession No. B-67461, Rhodococcus sp. G706, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia E132 having an NRRL Accession No. B-67460, Streptomyces aurantiacus A918, Streptomyces badius O180, Streptomyces mirabilis B670 having an NRRL Accession No. B67463, Streptomyces scopuliridis F427 having an NRRL Accession No. B-67458, and Streptomyces sp. L219. Also provided are whole cell broth or lysates thereof, and polynucleotide, polypeptides and constructs expressing same, compositions-of-matter comprising same and methods using same for killing or inhibiting the development of insects.
BACTERIAL STRAINS AND THEIR USE FOR CONTROLLING PLANT DISEASE
Compositions and methods for treating or preventing plant disease are provided. Such compositions and methods comprise a bacterial strain that control one or more pathogens that cause plant disease or improve at least one agronomic trait of interest in a plant. The bacterial strain can be used as an inoculant for plants. Therefore, methods for growing a plant susceptible to a plant disease and methods for controlling plant disease on a plant susceptible to the plant disease are provided.
Consortium of bacteria that mineralises lipids, starches and sugars (carbohydrates) and are resistant to lethal doses of thiodicarb (carbamate) and bifenthrin (pyrethroid) for inoculation into organic matter of different origins
The present invention provides a consortium of resistant microorganisms for biodegrading carbohydrates in the organic fraction of any source of solid waste. The genetic, metabolic and morphological structure of these resistant microorganisms works efficiently by biodegrading and mineralising solid biodegradable waste from municipal or harvest solid waste, reducing the production of gases and leachates. This compound enriches and increases the concentration of beneficial microorganisms, generating high-quality biological fertilisers suitable for use in agricultural production, in land recovery and conservation, under the parameters established in sustainable organic farming, which seeks to conserve, recover and use nature or the environment without generating the least negative impact.
Plant growth-promoting bacteria and methods of use
The present invention generally relates to bacteriologically pure bacterial cultures of novel strains of plant growth-promoting bacteria, and inoculums comprising the same. The invention is also directed to plant seeds coated with the inoculums, kits comprising the inoculums and methods for stimulating plant growth by applying the biologically pure bacterial culture or the inoculum to a plant, plant seed, or plant growth medium.
