UTERINE FIBROID TISSUE REMOVAL DEVICE
A uterine fibroid tissue removal device includes an inner tube disposed within an outer tube and configured to be translated and rotated relative to the outer tube, and a separately formed unitary distal tip member attached to a distal end of the inner tube, such that the distal tip member translates and rotates relative to the outer tube along with the inner tube, wherein a distal facing open cutting end of the distal tip member in fluid communication with an axial lumen of the distal tip member translates across a tissue resection window in a sidewall of the outer tube so as to sever tissue extending therethrough, the distal tip member axial lumen being in fluid communication with an axial lumen of the inner tube, wherein an outer diameter of the distal tip member is greater than an outer diameter of the inner tube.
Anesthetic Tunneling Tool
A surgical tunneling tool and a method of using the surgical tunneling tool are disclosed. In one embodiment, the surgical tunneling tool includes a flexible shaft including a lumen through which an anesthetic may be delivered subcutaneously. In another embodiment, the surgical tunneling tool includes a sheath disposed on a flexible shaft, the sheath including at least one channel through which an anesthetic may be delivered subcutaneously. The subcutaneous distribution of anesthetic may involve stepwise insertion of the surgical tunneling tool. The surgical tunneling tool may be used for insertion of a medical device into a patient after use of the surgical tunneling tool to anesthetize a subcutaneous pathway for the medical device.
Medical testing apparatus and method of use
A medical testing apparatus and method of use for penetrating a patient's tissue with an agent, the apparatus comprises an arcuate rail having spaced first and second sides supported by upper and lower arcuate surfaces and an arcuate handle having first and second ends extending from the upper surface of the arcuate rail. A plurality of tips extend substantially from and normally outward as the lower arcuate surface. The plurality of tips comprises alternating blunt tips and reed tips.
Introducer Needle and Stylet for Interventional Procedures
An introducer tube/stylet needle assembly provides for an interfacial channel between the stylet and introducer tube to allowing the flow of anesthetic through the introducer tube from a syringe or the like without removal of the stylet from an introducer tube. A valve structure may automatically block gas flow through the introducer tube when the stylet is removed.
Expandable cannula and method of use
A cutting device includes an elongated shaft that extends between a proximal end and a distal end. A distal arm extends from the distal end of the elongated shaft. The distal arm includes an inner surface defining a cavity and an outer surface defining a blunt tip. At least one proximal arm extends from the distal end of the elongated shaft at a position proximal to the distal arm. The at least one proximal arm having an inner surface defines a cavity including a cutting portion configured to cut tissue.
Medical Instruments With Multi-Faceted Edges
The present invention presents a medical instrument for penetrating cutaneous and sub-cutaneous tissue, causing less hemorrhage and patient pain. This medical device for insertion into tissue comprising one or more section, said section including a plurality of facets; and each facet is configured to deflect the tissue it contacts in a direction that is different than adjacent facets.
Medical insertion apparatus
Provided are a medical insertion apparatus including a screw body to be inserted into a body, and a conductive portion provided in the screw body and including an externally exposed portion, wherein the conductive portion may extend in a longitudinal direction of the screw body and form a single closed loop, and a medical insertion apparatus including a screw body to be inserted into a body, a driver to engage with the screw body to be used to fasten or loosen the screw body, and a conductive portion provided in the screw body and the driver and including an externally exposed portion on one side of the screw body, wherein a portion of the conductive portion disposed in the screw body and another portion of the conductive portion disposed in the driver may be electrically connected to each other.
Medical inserting apparatus
According to one embodiment, a medical insertion apparatus includes a screw nail body inserted into a human body and an electrode which is provided in the screw nail body and includes an externally exposed portion. Here, a through hole may be formed in the screw nail body or the electrode. According to one embodiment, a medical insertion apparatus includes a screw nail body inserted into a human body and an electrode which is provided in the screw nail body and exposed outside the screw nail body. Here, the screw nail body and the electrode may be provided as a combinable or separable structure. According to one embodiment, a medical insertion apparatus includes a screw nail body inserted into a human body, a driver engaged with the screw nail body to tighten or loosen the screw nail body, and a conductor portion which may be provided in the screw nail body or the driver and may include an externally exposed portion.

Holder for mounting a handheld tool to a surface
A holder for mounting a hand tool to a surface has a suction cup positionable upon a surface. A yoke is connected to a central area of the suction cup, and is movable in a vertical direction relative to the surface, to distort the suction cup to secure the suction cup and yoke to the surface. A frame includes a cradle shaped to receive and support the hand tool, and a base. An extension connects the base and the cradle. A cam pin is movable within the frame, and has a cam profile that slides along the cam engagement surface of the yoke to displace the yoke along a vertical axis to increase or decrease the pressure between the suction cup and the surface.
