Some embodiments may include a device or system for skin care that may include a skin tool head portion, a skin tool head support that may be coupled with the skin tool head portion, and/or a portable microscope connector that may be configured to couple a portable microscope with the skin tool head support. Some embodiments include a device for skin care that may include a spacer configured to couple with a portable microscope. The spacer includes at least one aperture configured to facilitate the use of a skin tool. Some embodiments include a spacer coupled with a compressible structure configured to preclude a skin tool from contacting a portion of skin when in an uncompressed state and to allow the skin tool to contact the portion of skin when in a compressed state.

Delivery of nanoparticles

Delivery of compositions for treatment of skin tissue with photoactive plasmonic nanoparticles and light, with embodiments relating to delivery devices. Treatments are useful for cosmetic, diagnostic and therapeutic applications.

Personal care appliance

A personal care appliance includes a housing, a drive assembly provided in the housing, and a workpiece member. The drive assembly includes a stator and an armature adjacent the stator, wherein the stator, when energized, is structured to cause the armature to oscillate back and forth. The personal care appliance further includes a mounting assembly having a pivot arm having a shaft member and first and second mounting members. The workpiece member is coupled to the first end portion of the shaft member such that oscillation of the armature causes the workpiece member to oscillate relative to the housing.

Surgical incision and closure apparatus

An apparatus for closing a surgical incision comprises left and right base panels, a plurality of closure components, and a plurality of left and right axial supports coupled to the respective base panels. The closure components couple the left and right base panels to each other laterally and have left and right ends coupled to the respective base panels. The closure components are positioned laterally across the left and right panels, the left axial supports are disposed between pairs of left closure component ends, the right axial supports are disposed between pairs of right closure component ends, and the left and right axial supports are offset from one another such that a serpentine arrangement of consecutive closure components and axial supports is formed. The apparatus can be made of antimicrobial materials or materials impregnated with antimicrobial agents. A flexible adhesive cover can be provided over the apparatus when in use.

SKIN RETRACTION SYSTEM AND SKIN RETRACTOR THEREFOR
20220287790 · 2022-09-15 ·

This disclosure relates to a skin traction system and a skin retractor thereof. When the skin retractor of this disclosure is in use, a winding roller is rotated to wind a bracing wire on the winding roller, the winding roller is in a lock position, the locking is achieved through the matching of a scotch structure and a matching structure, thereby preventing the winding roller from rolling back; when it is necessary to loosen the bracing wire, push the winding roller along the winding roller to move it from the lock position to the unlock position, so that the scotch structure and the matching structure disengage, and the winding roller is in a free state, the bracing wire is loosened and detached from the winding roller under the opposite acting force, thereby realizing the loosening of the bracing wire.

Skin Lifting Thread Inserting Device

The present disclosure relates to a skin lifting thread inserting device and, more specifically, to a thread inserting device capable of enhancing a lifting effect by using a single cog thread connected to a plurality of needles. A thread inserting device for a skin lifting treatment according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: first and second needles (10a, 10b); and first and second handles (20a, 20b), wherein the thread (100) extends from the opening (11a) formed at the distal end of the first needle (10a) to the opening (11b) formed at the distal end of the second needle (10b).

Methods, compositions, and delivery systems for therapeutic skin treatments
11433006 · 2022-09-06 · ·

Disclosed are skincare formulations, delivery systems and treatment methods containing an oligopeptide and a combination of antioxidants for topical application to the skin before and/or after dermatological procedures that affect the skin's barrier. The systems herein alleviate discomfort and enable rapid healing of irritated and damaged skin, and provide improved treatment outcomes for dermatological procedures. The disclosed topical formulations, delivery systems, and methods thereof provide enhanced penetration of the active ingredients to the skin while maintaining skin moisture and protecting sensitive skin after dermatological procedures for improvement of aesthetic skin properties. Also provided are methods for therapeutic treatment of dermatological conditions by topically applying, using, for example, a pre-moistened bio-cellulose mask, a formulation comprising (% w/w) at least 0.0001% palmitoyl sh-tripeptide-4 amide on an active basis and at least 0.1% Camellia sinensis leaf extract.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR TREATING THE SKIN

According to some embodiments, a skin treatment assembly comprises a tip comprising a proximal end and a distal end, a container configured to secure to the tip along the proximal end of the tip, wherein the container is configured to contain a liquid, and a porous member configured to extend at least partially within an interior of the container such that it contact a liquid contained within the container, wherein the porous member is configured to extend at least partially within an interior of the tip and is configured to facilitate the transfer of liquid from the container to the distal end of the tip.

METHODS, DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR INDUCING COLLAGEN REGENERATION
20220211424 · 2022-07-07 ·

A microneedling system may reciprocate a plurality of microneedles disposed on a handpiece into the skin of a patient. The microneedles and/or electrode plates may deliver RF energy to the patient for inducing collagen coagulation and regeneration. An interrogative modality such as ultrasound may combined into the microneedling handpiece or used as a separate instrument to interrogate the skin and identify or measure the thicknesses of constituent layers. The data obtained from the interrogative modality may be displayed and can be used to automatically adjust operating parameters of the microneedling device, including the penetration depth of the needles, the pulse duration, and/or the power level of the RF energy to optimize the treatment for the specific patient and/or condition being treated. The microneedling system may recall the skin measurements for distinct sectors of the skin which are expected to have different properties.

ACNE EXTRACTION TOOL DEVICE
20220240965 · 2022-08-04 ·

The present invention relates to an acne extraction tool device comprised of a body that has a first member, a second member, at least one hinge, at least one spring and a cup member. The cup member can be placed on the skin of a user and over the acne to be extracted. A user can then grip each member and press the cup downwards onto the skin, while simultaneously pushing each member towards one another, such that the cup becomes contorted. As a result, the cup applies uniform pressure around the acne to extract the acne. The extracted bodily matter from the acne is then collected on the interior surface of the cup, such that it cannot contact any nearby surfaces.
