CATHETERS HAVING SHAPED DISTAL PORTIONS, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed herein are aspiration guide catheters having a pre-shaped distal portion configured to deflect away from a longitudinal axis of the catheter, and associated systems and methods. In some embodiments, an aspiration guide catheter includes an inner liner defining a lumen and having a proximal region and a distal region. The catheter further includes a braid of wires over the inner liner, and a wire coiled around the braid over at least a portion of the distal region of the inner liner. At least a portion of the braid over the distal region of the inner liner is configured to deflect away from a longitudinal axis of the proximal region. The catheter can further include an outer sheath over the braid, the wire, and the inner liner.
Packages for medical devices and medical device assemblies
A package for containing a medical device including peel stops located in the first side seal zone and the second side seal zone of a peripheral seal of package, wherein the first and second peel-stops limit peeling of the first and second side seal zones of the peripheral seal.
Dual axle robotic end effector
An end effector includes a distal clevis, an axle mounted to the distal clevis, a first jaw holder and corresponding first jaw member rotatably mounted to the axle, and a second jaw holder and corresponding second jaw member rotatably mounted to the axle. A sleeve axle has a first end, a second end, and a central passageway that extends between the first and second ends. The axle is received within the central passageway and the sleeve axle is rotatable relative to the axle.
Device For Constricting Vessels
A device constricts vessels and includes a constricting belt and a lock. One end of the constricting belt is arranged in a fixed manner in the lock and one end of the constricting belt is movably arranged in the lock. The constricting belt and the lock include a material having a smooth surface. In a closed state, the lock is a smooth, cube-shaped or elongated body, which includes no further external openings or projections apart from the feedings for the constricting belt.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR NEUROVASCULAR ENDOLUMINAL INTERVENTION
An apparatus for neurovascular endoluminal intervention, in particular for the treatment of ischemic stroke, is provided. The apparatus comprises a catheter (2) for insertion into the circulatory system (CS) of a patient, in order to aspirate one or several dots (C) present in the circulatory system (CS). A distal outer section (22) of the catheter (2) comprises an unexpanded state, in which the diameter (D2) of the distal outer section (22) is smaller than the diameter (D1) of a proximal outer section (21) of the catheter (2), in order to facilitate navigation of the catheter through the circulatory system, and a radially expanded state, in order to facilitate aspiration of the one or several clots (C) through the catheter (2). Furthermore, a method for applying such an apparatus is provided.
Ultrasonic surgical blades
An ultrasonic surgical blade includes a body having a proximal end, a distal end, and an outer surface. The distal end is movable relative to a longitudinal axis in accordance with ultrasonic vibrations applied to the proximal end. At least a portion of the outer surface of the body comprises a lubricious coating adhered thereto. The lubricious coating has a coefficient of friction that is less than the coefficient of friction of the outer surface of the body.

System for Left Atrial Appendage Isolation and Clip Device Therefor
The system and device ensure a smooth and shockless effect of changeover of the first and second jaws from the diverged position to the clamped position with the control option of the impact force upon closing., The left atrial appendage isolation system incorporates a clip device between the first and second jaws, a clamping device and a control device. The clip has a connecting device, the clamping element is configured to contain the first hinge. The connecting device comprises the second hinge, the first and second hinges being connected to the corresponding ends of the first jaw and are designed to rotate the specified first jaw relative to the second jaw made fixed, at an angle ranging from 0° to 180°. The first hinge is made controllable, the control device comprises the first hinge actuator adapted to couple detachably with tension to fit with the said first hinge.
Robotic surgical assemblies
A surgical instrument for coupling to a robotic surgical assembly configured to transfer rotational forces to the surgical instrument is provided. The surgical instrument includes an elongated shaft, an end effector coupled to a distal end of the elongated shaft, and a drive assembly operatively coupled to the end effector. The drive assembly includes one or more cables connected to the end effector. Movement of the one or more cables actuates a movement of the end effector. The one or more cables may be coated with parylene.
