Process for recovering precious metals from clay-containing ores

A solution for leaching metals from clay containing ore and a method of leaching ore is described. The solution comprises a cyanide; a wetting agent; and a clay stabilizing polymer.

RECYCLING LI-ION BATTERIES USING GREEN CHEMICALS AND PROCESSES

A process for extracting, recovering and recycling metals and materials from spent lithium ion batteries (LIB) that comprises the contacting battery waste products with a deep eutectic solvent, and leaching the metal from the battery waste product and extracting the metal into the deep eutectic solvent with heat and agitation. After the leaching and extracting, the process further includes recovering the dissolved metals ions from the deep eutectic solvent solution, followed by a step of regeneration of cathode materials.

Lixiviant for rare earth production

Hydrometallurgical compositions are described in which organic amine-based lixiviants and organic amine-based pre-lixiviants are utilized in the selective recovery of rare earth elements. The lixiviant species can be regenerated in situ, permitting the organic amine to be used in substoichiometric amounts.

A solution for leaching metals from clay containing ore and a method of leaching ore is described. The solution comprises a cyanide; a wetting agent; and a clay stabilizing polymer.

Methods, materials and techniques for precious metal recovery

Materials and methods for precious metal recovery are disclosed. Usable leaching solutions are preferably aqueous based and include appropriate materials in sufficient quantities to solubilize and stabilize precious metal. Such materials typically include oxidant material. Some or all of the oxidant material can be, in some instances, generated in-situ. The leaching solution is typically contacted with a substrate having a target precious metal, thereby solubilizing precious metal to form a stable, pregnant solution. The precious metal can then be recovered from the pregnant solution. In some instances, components of the leaching solution can be regenerated and reused in subsequent leaching.

System and Method for Strength Training

Athletic strength training for both development and therapy involves compound athletic movements, like those specific to a sport such as throwing a pitch or those at the core of most athletic programs; like the popular powerlifting movements used for general strength training, back squat, bench press, and deadlift. By creation of reference sets from elite athletes ideal biomechanics profiles for these compound movements may be created. Thus establishing both a profile for assessing target athletes through a personal analysis as well as to prescribe training for target athletes. This reduces injury risks during development and athletic performance, accelerates strength development, and allows novel therapeutic approaches to injuries.
