Advanced Beneficiation Process for Beneficiation, Mobilization, Extraction, Separation, and Concentration of Mineralogical Resources
A method for beneficiation of mineralogical materials that comprises using a one or more of a suite of processes including fluidized bed separation, plasma-based stimulation or enhancement of chemical reactions using a Reactive X-Ray Chemical Processor, field enhancement of chemical reactions and process and drying. All of the processes can be used singly, jointly, simultaneously or sequentially in multiple stages. The methods are nearly non-polluting and serve to replace polluting wet chemistry and other beneficiation techniques.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING URANIUM OR A RARE EARTH ELEMENT
The above mentioned invention describes a process for producing uranium and/or at least one rare earth element selected from the group consisting of cerium, dysprosium, erbium, europium, gadolinium, holmium, lanthanum, lutetium, neodymium, praseodymium, promethium, samarium, scandium, terbium, thulium, ytterbium and yttrium out of an ore. The ore is mixed with sulphuric acid with an concentration of at least 95 wt.-% to a mixture, wherein the mixture is granulated to pellets. The pellets are fed into at least one fluidized bed fluidized by a fluidizing gas for a thermal treatment at temperatures between 200 and 1000 C. The at least one fluidized bed is developed such that it at least partly surrounds a gas supply tube for a gas or a gas mixture fed into the reactor and the gas or gas mixture is used as a heat transfer medium.
Beneficiation process for low grade uranium ores
The disclosure relates to a beneficiation process for low grade uranium ore, wherein the process comprises a primary beneficiation stage comprising: wet scrubbing the low grade uranium ore to separate the low grade ore into a fine fraction and a coarse fraction; screening the fine fraction according to a size separation parameter to provide an undersize fraction and an oversize fraction, wherein the uranium predominantly reports to the undersize fraction; and separating the undersize fraction to produce an intermediate uranium concentrate. The intermediate uranium concentrate may be further processed in a secondary beneficiation stage to produce a high grade uranium concentrate.
EFFICIENT MULTIPHASE-FLOW GRADED-SEPARATION, CONCENTRATION, AND PURIFICATION SYSTEM FOR ARGILLACEOUS SANDSTONE URANIUM ORE
An efficient multiphase-flow graded-separation, concentration, and purification system for argillaceous sandstone uranium ore includes a hydraulic tossing washing and scattering pretreatment device, a high-frequency linear vibration grading device, a first-stage multiphase-flow swirling grading device, an energy-gathering ultrasonic scrubbing device, a second-stage multiphase-flow swirling grading device, a high-frequency linear vibration dewatering device, an efficient uniform-mixing and activating system and a conditioning and pressing dewatering system. The present disclosure implements intensive mud-sand stripping of crushed argillaceous sandstone uranium ore, fine graded-separation of material, and efficient uniform-mixing and activating and deep efficient dewatering of fine-particle argillaceous material. Finally, four types of core material of coarse sand material, fine sand material, dry tailings residue and a high-concentration uranium ore leaching solution are formed through continuous work. Efficient multiphase-flow graded-separation, concentration and purification of the argillaceous sandstone uranium ore are implemented, and an intensive extraction rate of uranium ore resources is improved.
