Device and Method for Producing a Micro-Graft Matrix from Full-Thickness Skin
A device set and a method for producing a micro-graft matrix with a plurality of punched full-thickness skin parts (12) from skin includes a film set of at least one first film (1) and one second film (2), which adhere to and are peelable from one another; an adhesive (10) to stick the first film (1) onto the skin; a cutting device with an adapter to provide a predefined distance to the skin and to make a plurality of hollow-cylindrical cuts vertical to the film set down to a predetermined depth in the skin underneath, the film set being respectively cut and divided, so that an outer portion of the second film can be peeled off and inner portions remain; and a third film (3), stuck in contact with the second film (2). The punched full-thickness skin parts can be extracted from the skin as the micro-graft matrix using the third film (3).
Proximal humeral stabilization systems and methods thereof
An intramedullary nail implant for positioning in a bone having a head and a shaft defining an intramedullary canal. The implant includes a distal portion having a shaft extending along a central axis and configured for positioning within the intramedullary canal. A proximal portion extends proximally from the distal portion. The proximal portion defines a contact surface which extends at least in part medially of the central axis such that it is configured to extend within a medial portion of the bone head. A method of implanting the nail is also provided.
CONTINUOUS TETHERED TISSUE ANCHOR AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The invention relates to tissue anchor in medical procedures. More specifically the invention relates to a tethered anchor. The tethered anchor includes a tether portion (108) that is elongate and extends between a first end and a second end, the tether portion being formed of a flat film construct; and an anchor portion (106) that defines a width that is greater than a width of the tether portion, the anchor portion being integrally formed with the tether portion of the flat film construct and extending continuously from the second end of the tether portion, the anchor portion having a first aperture (402) through which the tether portion extends.

The punched full-thickness skin parts can be extracted from the skin as the micro-graft matrix using the third film (3).
SURGICAL DEVICE FOR CONTROLLED ANCHORING IN THE INTESTINE
A surgical anchor device for being anchored on the mucous membrane of the inner wall of the intestine, the device having a temporary anchor element presenting anchoring that can be modified in a controlled manner and having a first substantially cylindrical multiply-perforated wall presenting properties of radial elasticity whereby the first wall presents an outer diameter that can be varied in controlled manner, wherein a portion of the inner surface of the first wall is lined with an independent leakproof inner sheath having only its longitudinal ends fastened to the anchor element to define a suction chamber between the inner sheath and the first wall, the temporary anchor element being coupled to a flexible or semi-rigid tube extending outside the anchor element, an open end of the injection-suction tube opening out into the suction chamber enabling air to be injected into or sucked out from the suction chamber.
Uterine manipulator
A uterine manipulator device includes: an elongated cannulated tube having proximal and distal ends, a cervical cup positioned on the elongated cannulated tube with a top distal portion of a first diameter and a base proximal portion of a second smaller diameter, and an occluder assembly comprising an occluder positioned proximally from the cervical cup on the elongated cannulated tube, the occluder having a body with at least one primary rib and at least two secondary ribs, wherein a diameter of at least one secondary rib is smaller than the diameter of the primary rib.
IMAGING TOOL TO SUPPORT EYE SURGERY
An imaging tool with a tubular implement of minimal diameter for locating in a patient's eye and to extend an image capturing platform therefrom. The platform is uniquely sized for storage within the lumen or inner diameter of the implement, such as a thin film image sensor. However, a microchip package having a bulk footprint too large for the inner diameter of the implement may be displaced to another location of the tool such as within the adjacent, more sizeable handpiece or housing. Further, the platform may be expanded upon being exposed to the interior of the eye by the extending thereinto. Thus, an increased surface and pixel count may be provided for the imaging.
Methods and devices for altering lung volume
A medical device and methods for altering lung volume are disclosed. The medical device includes a coil formed of a biodegradable material including a first bioabsorbable material that is configured to deactivate a portion of a lung as the coil degrades. The method includes positioning a first coil adjacent a first target within a patient and permitting the first coil to degenerate such that a first bioabsorbable material deactivates a first portion of a lung. The first coil is formed of a biodegradable material and includes the first bioabsorbable material.
