The joint stabilization system includes a flexible prosthetic band for stabilizing the bones in proper position and a connector mechanism for joining the two ends of the prosthetic band around the bones. One end of the prosthetic band can be permanently attached to the connector.

An apparatus for laparoscopic intracorporeal knot tying includes a needle grasper including a needle holder shaft and a needle holder jaw located at a distal end of the needle holder shaft, and a knot loop grasper including a knot loop holder shaft, which is slidable on the needle holder shaft, and a knot loop holder jaw located at a distal end of the knot loop holder shaft. In an inactive state of the apparatus, the knot loop holder is located proximal to the needle holder jaw. In an active state of the apparatus at a time of a knot tying, the knot loop holder jaw slides on the needle holder shaft toward the distal end of the needle holder shaft and beyond the needle holder jaw to carry components of a knot over a standing end of a suture held by the needle holder jaw.

A minimally invasive surgical suture end locking device includes a hooking assembly, a clamping structure, a power rod and an external conduit. The hooking assembly includes an annular structure enclosed by a flexible material and a force application end, the clamping structure is configured to press the locking pin, the power rod is configured to press the clamping structure by linear motion, and the external conduit is provided with a through hole, the through hole being provided on the side of a position where the clamping structure and the power rod contact each other for a portion of the suture passing through the through area to be led out. There is provided in the present invention a device that allows to tighten and lock the suture directly at the end proximal to the position where the suture is led out from the human tissue.

SUTURING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

The present disclosure includes a suturing device including: a fixed arm having a fixed jaw including a first grasping slot configured to receive a needle; a movable arm coupled to a movable jaw including a second grasping slot configured to receive the needle, the movable arm configured to pivot relative to the fixed arm to pivot the movable jaw relative to the fixed jaw until the needle is received in the first grasping slot and the second grasping slot; and a needle transfer mechanism configured to grasp the needle in the first grasping slot or the second grasping slot. In some aspects, the suturing device includes a safety member configured to control when the movable arm moves. The present disclosure includes a loading apparatus including a loading slot configured to receive a fixed jaw and a slider configured to move the needle towards into the fixed jaw.

First and second tuberosities of the fractured humerus may be robotically machined to include first and second implant-facing surfaces that are substantially negatives of first and second surface portions of the proximal end of the prosthetic humeral stem. The first and second tuberosities may be machined so that the first and second tuberosities have first and second interlocking surfaces shaped to interlock with each other. During implantation, the first and second implant-facing surfaces are in contact with the first and second surface portions of the proximal end of the prosthetic humeral stem, and the first interlocking surface interlocks with the second interlocking surface.

Disclosed herein are various exemplary systems and methods for deploying an implant to a target location of a body vessel. The delivery member can include a tubular body including a lumen and compressed distal portion. The delivery member can include a loop wire with a loop opening positioned approximate the compressed distal portion. The delivery member can include a pull wire that has a proximal pull wire portion and a distal pull wire portion connected by a suture linkage. The suture linkage can include a proximal suture knot engaged to the proximal pull wire portion and a distal suture knot engaged to the distal pull wire portion. Pull wire beads positioned on the proximal pull wire and distal pull wire portion can retain the suture knots during proximal translation of the pull wire. The suture linkage can include slack that is effective to prevent premature deployment of the implant.
