An inhibition corrosion package for use with an acidic composition, where the package comprises a terpene component; a propargyl alcohol or derivative thereof; at least one amphoteric surfactant; and a solvent. Also disclosed are acidic compositions combining the corrosion inhibition package according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention for use in various industrial operations including but not limited to oil and gas operations. Also disclosed are methods of use of such compositions.

The present invention provides a treatment liquid that exhibits excellent washing properties and improves the smoothness of an object to be treated in a case where the treatment liquid is used for treating an object to be treated containing a cobalt-containing substance. The present invention also provides a method for treating an object to be treated. The treatment liquid according to an embodiment of the present invention contains water, hydroxylamine, and three kinds of first anions consisting of Cl.sup.−, NO.sub.2.sup.−, and NO.sub.3.sup.−, in which a total content of the first anions is 0.0001 to 30 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the hydroxylamine.

Acid-pickling additive for surface oxide scale of stainless steel material, preparation method thereof, and acid-pickling method

Provided is an acid-pickling additive for a surface oxide scale of a stainless steel material, a preparation method thereof and an acid-pickling method. The acid-pickling additive consists of 1 to 10 parts by weight of an alcohol amine compound, 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of a metal complex ligand, 0 to 10 parts by weight of a nitrogen-containing organic cyclic compound, 0 to 3 parts by weight of an alcohol compound, 0 to 3 parts by weight of a plant extract, and 1 to 2 parts by weight of water. This acid-pickling additive can solve the problems of high energy consumption, environmental pollution, and high cost in the existing method for removing an oxide scale of a stainless steel.
