OCCLUSION CLIP
An occlusion clip comprising: (a) a first elongated occlusion arm; (b) a second elongated occlusion arm; (c) a first elongated biasing arm coupled to a distal portion of the first elongated occlusion arm; (d) a second elongated biasing arm coupled to a distal portion of the second elongated occlusion arm, where a proximal portion of the first elongated biasing arm is coupled to a proximal portion of the second elongated biasing arm, where the first elongated occlusion arm extends parallel to the first elongated bias arm along a majority of its length, and where the second elongated occlusion arm extends parallel to the second elongated bias arm along a majority of its length.
PARTLY RESORBABLE TISSUE CLIP
The invention relates to a partly resorbable tissue clip for stapling tissue, comprising at least one gripping tooth that grips the tissue, at least one force deflecting element that is equipped with at least one gripping tooth, and at least one spring element that is connected to the at least one force deflecting element; the at least one gripping tooth or a portion of the at least one force deflecting element or of at least one of the force deflecting elements is made of bioresorbable material.
FETCHING ASSEMBLY AND RELEASING ASSEMBLY FOR ANASTOMOSIS CLAMP
A fetching assembly for an anastomosis clamp. The fetching assembly includes a fetching cap, a fetching hook and an anastomosis clamp. The fetching cap is configured to be mounted on a front end of an endoscope and has an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the anastomosis clamp. The fetching hook is configured to pass through the fetching cap and hook onto the anastomosis clamp. When the fetching hook is pulled backward, the anastomosis clamp can be sleeved on an outer peripheral surface of the fetching cap to restore the closed anastomosis clamp.
Braided Hemostasis Shaft For Improved Torsional Response
A medical insertion device includes an elongated shaft extending from a proximal end to a distal end and having flexibility sufficient for insertion through a working channel of an endoscope along a tortuous path. The elongated shaft includes a coil extending from the proximal end to the distal end and having a channel extending longitudinally therethrough and a braided portion extending around a portion of the coil, the braided portion including a plurality of lines wound together such that first and second ones of the lines intersect to enclose a predetermined angle therebetween, the angle being between 25 and 55 degrees.
MEDICAL DEVICE FOR REPAIRING SOFT TISSUE AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A medical device for repairing soft tissue is disclosed. The medical device includes a cannulated probe positionable a tear in the soft tissue and a stop. The cannulated probe has an inlet about a proximal end and at least one outlet about a distal end with a lumen therethrough. The inlet is operatively connectable to an adhesive source to receive the adhesive therein. The outlet(s) is/are positionable about the tear to emit the adhesive about the tear. The stop is disposable about a periphery of the probe a distance from the inlet, and is positionable adjacent a surface of the soft tissue to terminate advancement of the cannulated probe into the soft tissue whereby a delivery portion of the cannulated probe is positionable about the soft tissue to deliver the adhesive about the tear.
Blood-vessel bloodstream simulation system, method therefor, and computer software program
This system is a system for analyzing blood flow which imposes a boundary condition relating to the blood flow to three dimensional shape data of a target vascular site of a subject and divides a lumen of the target vascular site into meshes for obtaining state quantities of the blood flow at each mesh position by means of computation, having: a labeling unit, by a computer, for reading out the three dimensional shape data on the lumen of the target vascular site, and labeling a plurality of vascular elements included in the target vascular based on a size of the cross-sectional area of each of the vascular elements; wherein, the computation of the state quantities is carried out by varying a level of mesh detail for each vascular element based on the labeling according to the size of the cross-sectional area.
