TISSUE RETRACTION BANDS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a tissue traction device for endoscopic procedures such as tissue dissection. For example, a tissue traction device may include first and second attachment members pivotably attached by first and second swivels to opposite ends of a stretchable traction band comprising a compliant or semi-compliant material.
TISSUE ENGAGEMENT DEVICE
Medical devices and methods of using medical devices are disclosed. An example tissue engagement device includes a first actuation member including a body coupled to a first jaw and a second jaw at a pivot point, wherein the body is designed to shift between a first configuration and a first compressed configuration and a second actuation member coupled to the first actuation member at the pivot point and at a fixation point, wherein the second actuation member is designed to shift between a second configuration and a second compressed configuration. Further, shifting the first actuation member from the first configuration to the first compressed configuration, shifting the second actuation member from the second configuration to the second compressed configuration, or both, shifts the first jaw and the second jaw between a closed configuration and an open configuration.
Partially oval capsule for reloadable hemostasis clipping device
A system for treating tissue includes an applicator having a bushing and a control member and a clip assembly having a capsule with a channel extending therethrough. The channel includes proximal and distal portions. The distal portion extends distally from the proximal portion and flaring outward in a single plane to form opposing flared sections. The assembly also includes clip aims include proximal ends slidably received within the channel to move the arms between tissue receiving and tissue clipping configurations. The assembly further includes a yoke including a distal portion connected to the arms and a proximal portion configured to be connected to the control member so that longitudinal movement of the control member relative to the capsule moves the arms between the tissue receiving and clipping configurations. The yoke is positioned in the capsule so that the yoke is deformable in the plane in which the capsule flares outward.
TISSUE CLIP APPLICATION FITTING OR RETROFITTING SET
A tissue clip application fitting or retrofitting set comprising a cap attachment configured to be mounted on the distal end portion of a shaft-type medical endoscope. The cap attachment has a proximal mounting or placement portion and a distal tissue clip holding portion, in the region of which a cavity open at least in the distal direction is formed inside a radially outward-pointing peripheral surface. A tissue clip is supported on the peripheral surface, and can be displaced in the distal direction by a pull-off device in the form of a pull-off ring mounted on the radial outer peripheral surface of the tissue clip holding portion so that it can axially slide and move the tissue clip. The pull-off ring is operated by a cable pull that is in direct contact with the pull-off ring for the transmission of sliding force in at least two coupling or engagement points.
REPOSITIONABLE OVER THE SCOPE CLIP
A clipping system includes an adapter, a clip and an extending member. The adapter mounted over an insertion device. The clip mounted over the adapter and includes first and second jaws connected to one another such that the jaws are movable between an insertion configuration and an initial deployed configuration. The first jaw includes a keyhole opening. The member coupled to the clip and adapter. The member includes a distal end releasably engaging the opening. The distal end has a width smaller than a width of a first portion of the opening and larger than a second portion of the opening so that, when a portion of the member proximal of the distal end is received within the second portion, the adapter is released from the clip while the member remains coupled to the clip. The member forces the clip open as the clip retracts over the adapter.
REPOSITIONABLE OVER THE SCOPE CLIP
A system includes an adapter mounted over a distal end of an insertion device and an extending member. A clip mounted over the adapter includes jaws movable to separate from one another and, when the clip is moved off the adapter, to draw toward one another. The first member is releasably coupled to the clip, movably connected to the adapter and includes a clasp releasably coupling the clip to the first member via an engaging portion of one jaw to permit movement of the adapter relative to the clip while the first member remains coupled to the clip, enhancing visualization of the clip. The first member is operable to retract the clip proximally over the adapter so that the clip is forced open as the clip is retracted over the adapter freeing the clip from tissue on which it had been clipped.
ENDOSCOPIC REPOSABLE SURGICAL CLIP APPLIER
The present disclosure relates to endoscopic reposable surgical clip appliers having a shaft assembly. The shaft assembly includes a spindle, pusher bar, and a barrel assembly. The spindle and pusher bar are each translatably supported within the shaft assembly. The barrel cam assembly includes a first portion in mechanical communication with the spindle and a second portion in mechanical communication with the pusher bar. Translation of the spindle effectuates rotation of a portion of the barrel cam assembly and the rotation of the portion of the barrel cam assembly effectuates translation of the pusher bar.
Lateral distractor
A distraction device includes a cage distractor, two distractor blades, an inserter positioner, and a clip inserter. The cage distractor is selectively securable to the two distractor blades and includes two distractor housings moveable relative to one another. The inserter positioner is selectively securable to the two distractor blades and include a center member that is centered between the distractor blades when the inserter positioner is secured to the two distractor blades. The clip inserter is configured to secure a clip to a distal end thereof and is slidable through the center member to secure the clip to a cage distracted by the movement of the two distractor housings away from one another. The clip maintaining the distraction of the cage.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HEMOCLIP DEPLOYMENT
Disclosed are systems and methods for safely and effectively deploying a hemoclip onto a patient's desired target using a hemoclip system. For instance, disclosed is an catheter that includes a lumen for a hemoclip to pass through. Additionally, disclosed are hemoclips that are configured to be in a compressed position until the hemoclip is deployed out of a catheter where it opens. Then, the hemoclip may be clipped onto the target to encapsulate the desired target within the patient. Once the hemoclip is clamped onto the target, the catheter can move onto the next target for successive deployment and utilization of the hemoclips without manual reload.
CLIP INDWELLING DEVICE AND CLIP
A clip indwelling device includes an insertion portion; a power transmission member; a hollow member in which an insertion passage is formed; an arm member which includes a first and a second arms inserted into the insertion passage to protrude from a distal end of the hollow member, is connected to the power transmission member, and is constituted to switch between an open state and a closed state due to advance-retract movement of the power transmission member, and an adjustment mechanism which disposes the first and the second arms such that protrusion lengths of the first and the second arms in an axial direction with respect to the hollow member become equivalent to each other in the open state and disposes the first and the second arms such that the protrusion lengths thereof in the axial direction with respect to the hollow member differ from each other in the closed state.
