SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND RELATED METHODS FOR RETRACTING TISSUE

In one aspect of the present disclosure, a tissue retraction system may include a first anchor, a second anchor, and an elongate coupling member extending between the first anchor and the second anchor. The system also may include a holder for receiving the first anchor, the second anchor, and the elongate coupling element. The holder may include a proximal portion and a distal portion. The distal portion may have a smaller width than the proximal portion such that the distal portion exerts a force on a proximal end of the first anchor during deployment of the first anchor from the holder. The force may move the first anchor into an open configuration for receiving tissue.

CORDED NON-INVASIVE WOUND CLOSURE DEVICE WITH RIGID SLIDERS AS REDUNDANT SUPPORTS
20250288293 · 2025-09-18 ·

A non-invasive wound closure device that does not use needles, sutures, staples or tissue-adhesives. The device reapproximates the everted edges of a wound of a patient, and has two side strips each containing a customized bandage, that are adhered to either side of the wound that is closed by mating and tying the two tethered side strips via the cord and the rigid slider(s) and the locking mechanism. The device can also be reopened by untying the cord and removing the slider(s), and can be reclosed by repeating the closure process. Each side strip has cross holes, through which the cord tethers, joins and ties the side strips, and has an integral adhesive-bandage layer on the bottom to adhere to the patient's skin. The device may be made in various lengths and be used singly or in segments for straight wounds, or using multiple sliders for curved or dynamic wounds.

WOUND CLOSURE SYSTEM

A system is provided for closing a wound. The system provides a substrate that attaches to a tissue. For instance, the substrate may be a mesh. The substrate supports a zipper. The zipper may be opened to provide access to the tissue for access to a wound, or for forming an incision. The zipper may be closed to compress the tissue adjacent to the wound or incision in order to close the wound or incision for healing.

Reverse anastomosis closure clip

A system includes a clip, a member and a control member. The clip includes a barrel member defines a cavity therein and clip arms. Distal ends of the arms are connected to one another and slidably received within the cavity to be moved between open and closed configurations. The member includes a lumen extending longitudinally therethrough. A distal end of the member in contact with the distal ends of the arms to hold the arms distally against the barrel member. The control member is slidably received within the lumen so that a distal end of the control member extends distally past the distal end of the member and the distal ends of the arms to be connected to the distal end of the barrel member. A longitudinal movement of the control member relative to the longitudinal member moves the arms between the open and closed configurations.

STRUCTURED, SUPPORTED WOUND CLOSURE

A wound closure device with a structure that reliably induces eversion of tissue edges and fully supports the edges that define a wound opening.
