Delivery system for implantable flow connector
A delivery system for delivering an implant to a first space within a body of a patient including an elongate delivery member having a proximal portion, a distal portion, a lumen and a receiving area, the receiving area dimensioned for receipt of the implant. A deforming member is movable with respect to the delivery member from a first position to a second position to apply a force to the implant to deform the implant positioned in the receiving area of the delivery member.
VEIN COVER
A vein cover that can reduce or prevent intimal thickening by delivering blood to the downstream veins while gradually buffering the blood pressure, pulse pressure, and blood flow rate of the blood flowing through the lumen is provided.
A cylindrical vein cover (10) is to be placed outside a vein (4) that is anastomosed to an artery (3) or to an artificial vessel (5), and has a portion (A) that has a 10% elastic index of 25 N or less when the inner diameter of the vein cover (10) is expanded by 10% from its natural state.
Purse suturing device for hollow viscus
A purse suturing device includes a circular stapler having a tubular stapler head adapted to be inserted inside a section of the hollow viscus to be sutured, a handle with an actuator connected to the stapler head, and an anvil against which the staples may be folded. The anvil has a pole adapted to be inserted into the tubular stapler head. A suturing thread is wound around the hollow viscus and tightened, causing a section of the hollow viscus to be tightened around the pole. The tightened section also includes a pursed, or folded, section of the wall of the hollow viscus, in which two layers of the wall of the hollow viscus are stapled together.
PROTECTION COVER FOR ANASTOMOTIC PART
A protection cover (1) for an anastomotic part in which a first blood vessel is joined to a second blood vessel, having a tubular portion (2) that is configured to cover an outside of the first blood vessel, and a planar portion (4) that is configured to cover an outside of the second blood vessel, the protection cover (1) comprising a knitted fabric which is formed from continuous yarn extending from the tubular portion (2) to the planar portion (4).
DRAINAGE DEVICE
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices and establishing fluid communication between body lumens. In particular, the present disclosure relates to devices and methods for body lumen access and/or drainage, and devices and methods for creating an open flow passage between two or more body lumens.
Stent for anastomosis of different kinds of organs
A stent for anastomosis of different kinds of organs includes a main body, and at least one fixing unit provided in the main body. At least a portion of the main body is inserted into one of different kinds of organs to be anastomosed with each other, and the rest of the main body is inserted into the other of the different kinds of organs. A distance between the different kinds of organs under the anastomosis is maintained by the fixing units.
DEVICE FOR CARDIAC SURGERY
A medical device assembly includes a hinge rod having a first portion and a second portion, and a pedestal is coupled to the second portion of the hinge rod, the pedestal having a top surface, and portions of the pedestal cooperate to define a trough that is configured to hold a first portion of a vessel on the top surface of the pedestal. A retainer is movably coupled to the pedestal, and the retainer has a planar member having a lower surface configured to oppose the top surface of the pedestal. A joint member is coupled to the hinge rod, and a clamp assembly is releasably coupled to the joint member such that when the clamp assembly is in a locked configuration, the hinge rod is not repositionable, and when the clamp assembly is in an unlocked configuration, the hinge rod is repositionable.
Magnetic devices, systems, and methods
Methods and apparatus for safely forming anastomoses comprise magnetic members configured to accommodate different tissue types and patients of differing size and weight. The magnetic members may comprise first and second magnetic members configured to engage each other with a force sufficient to form anastomosis while taking a sufficiently long time to allow the intestinal walls to fuse together. The first and second magnetic members can be configured to form anastomoses between both similar and different types of intestinal tissue. An elongate surgical placement instrument can be configured to engage and manipulate the first and second magnet members through the intestinal wall from outside the intestinal wall in order to place each of the magnetic members at desired locations.
METHOD FOR MAKING ANASTOMOSES BETWEEN HOLLOW STRUCTURES VIA DIRECT ATRIAL ACCESS
The present invention relates to a joining member for an anastomosis system for realizing anastomosis between first and second hollow structures, such as end-to-side anastomosis. The joining member is annular and is adapted for joining the first and second hollow structures. The joining member includes a plurality of interconnected loops forming the annular body and a plurality of joining elements for joining the hollow structures connected to the annular body at locations where adjacent loops are interconnected to each other, and wherein the loops are configured to permit radial expansion of said annular body to expand said joining member from a first position to a second position having a second, larger diameter than the first position.
Anastomosis devices
Implantable medical devices for connecting tissue layers or occluding body conduits and tissue structures include apposition portions, a central region, and a covering material. The methods of using the devices include endoscopic deployment, and the devices may include self-expanding frameworks that facilitate a secure connection between the tissue structures. In some embodiments, one or more tethers are used to longitudinally contract the device in situ.
