The work head is connected to the clamp and the handle and includes: a casing, a firing forcing member, a firing rod connected to the firing forcing member, a receiving cavity arranged at a side of the firing rod, and a clip-cartridge assembly; the clip-cartridge assembly being arranged in the receiving cavity and configured for delivering ligation clips to the clamp. An inner cavity communicating with the receiving cavity is formed in the casing. The firing rod is connected to the firing forcing member and the clamp respectively, and the firing forcing member drives the firing rod to move so as to open or close the clamp. The medical apparatus further includes a limiting member, which is configured for preventing at least one of the clip-cartridge assembly and/or a driving assembly from exceeding a stroke range.

Clipping device for large defects, perforations and fistulas

A tissue clipping device and system, and method for clipping tissue are disclosed. The tissue clipping device includes a clip with clip arms that is slidably disposed within a channel of a lock tube. The clip is designed to move between an open configuration in which distal ends of the clip arms are separated from each other for receiving tissue therebetween, and a closed configuration in which the distal ends of the clip arms are closer to each other than in the open configuration for clipping the tissue received therebetween. The tissue clipping system further includes a delivery device for delivering and deploying the tissue clipping device. The delivery device is releasably coupled to the tissue clipping device.

COMPRESSION PATCH

A compression patch configured to achieve hemostasis in a living body, the compression patch including a compression feature extruding out towards a patient contact surface; a base configured to provide support to the compression feature, the base including an opening within a perimeter of the base; and a patch feature configured to provide stability to the compression patch by adhering to the patient contact surface.

This device is a combination of an expandable or inflatable bladder or balloon in conjunction with a rigid or semi-rigid skin contact surface or structure to reduce bleeding from a skin insertion wound site and a vascular wound site after a vascular intervention or surgical procedure is performed. The device may be held in contact or close contact with the skin by a circumferential band, a clamp or other mechanism and provides a more consistent and uniform surface area contact and compression force. The contact surface or foot provides a uniform surface area contact as compared to the ever-changing contact surface area from an inflatable bladder.

TUBULAR STRUCTURE LIGATOR

A surgical instrument is disclosed. The instrument includes a handle configured to move between an open position and a closed position; at least one clamping structure coupled to the handle. The at least one clamping structure includes a first set of pushing members operatively coupled to the handle. The movement of the handle from open position to the closed position facilitates the movement of pushing members into longitudinal direction. The at least one clamping structure includes a set of constrictors coupled to the set of the pushing members such that movement of the set of the pushing members enables movement of the set of constrictors from a designed position in which the set of constrictors are positioned away from each other and to a contracted position in which the set of constrictors are positioned closed to each other.

THROUGH THE SCOPE TENSION MEMBER RELEASE CLIP

An apparatus for deployment of a hemostatic clip includes a handle assembly, a shaft connected to a distal portion thereof and a clip assembly releasably coupled to a distal portion of the shaft. The clip assembly includes clip arms and a capsule cooperating with the clip arms to provide a first user feedback indicating a decision configuration of the clip assembly. In addition, the apparatus includes a control wire including a ball connector, the control wire extending from the handle assembly and coupled to the clip assembly by the ball connector to maintain the clip assembly coupled to the shaft, wherein the ball connector is detachable from the clip assembly to provide a second user feedback indicating separation of the clip assembly.

ABDOMINAL HEMORRHAGE CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD

A hemorrhage control device includes a trocar having an opening at a distal end. An expandable balloon is disposed within the trocar, the expandable balloon being collapsed within the trocar in a stored condition, and the expandable balloon being movable out of the trocar, through the opening, into a deployed condition. An inflation tube is fluidly connected to an interior of the expandable balloon. A source of pressurized fluid is connected to the inflation tube, pressurized fluid being introduced into the inflation tube to pressurize and inflate the expandable balloon in the deployed condition.

An endoscopic clip device for closure of a mucosal defect or transmural perforation in a gastrointestinal wall may include a sleeve and a clip disposed at least partially within and coupled to the sleeve. The clip may be configured for reversibly moving between an open configuration for positioning relative to the wall and a closed configuration for closing the defect or perforation. The clip may include a first clip arm configured for engaging the mucosal and submucosal layers of the wall and including a first needle extending to a distal end of the first clip arm and configured for advancing through the mucosal layer and into at least the submucosal layer, and a second clip arm disposed opposite the first clip arm and configured for engaging the mucosal layer. The device may be configured for advancing through an operative channel of an endoscope or overtube having a tortuous shape.
