Granular material distribution system and method
Systems and methods for dispersing granular material from a supply enable enhanced directional control and throwing distance. The present invention is utilizable with an integrated granular material supply container or can be configured for adaptation to a separate supply. Some embodiments of the present invention include a supply funnel, a flexible conduit, and a launcher constructed of a relatively stiffer material having a selectably openable aperture. When fed the supply of the granular material by the conduit, and moved forward in an underhanded tossing motion, a basic coordination of a triggering of the aperture opening at the appropriate moment in the toss controllably propels a substantial amount of the granular material a significant distance.

DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PLANTING SEEDS USING AIR PROPULSION
The present invention describes an air-powered device that propels seed from a storage container and distributes seeds from a horizontal tube into a series of vertical tubes, and shoots the seeds from those vertical tubes into the ground. The device can be carried by a human user or mounted on a cart having wheels or skis, and towed through a field while being used to plant seed. The different methods of carrying and operating the device enable farmers to utilize the device in different types of terrain and during different condition. The device can be manufactured from common, affordable materials, such as PVC, and offers rural farmers a portable solution for planting their crops that is efficient and low-cost.
Singulating hand planter and fertilizer applicator
A hand-planter for singulation planting of cereal, grain, seed and other crops includes a tapered soil engagement component for striking and penetrating a soil surface. With each planter strike to the soil surface, the planter is actuated to meter a granular material product by reciprocating a drum to rotate, thereby exposing a cavity to a material hopper. As the actuation force is released, the reciprocating drum rotates in an opposite direction to its original location and drops the material that has been metered.

Hand seed planter with soil-removing feature
A seed planter capable of removing soil, which is capable of: forming holes in which seeds can be planted by applying downward pressure to soil furrows covered by vinyl and by removing the covered vinyl and soil all at once, and at the same time inserting a supply pipe into the formed holes such that the seeds, water, and a fertilizer can be selectively placed therein; enables the removed covered vinyl at a fixing pin and within a needle member; and has a measuring tape such that holes can be precisely formed at proper intervals for growing plants.

HANDHELD POWER SPREADER
A spreader tool includes a hopper disposed above a base. The base includes a base opening that forms an egress. The spreader tool further includes an impeller disposed below the hopper. The spreader tool further includes a distribution gate that is positioned below the hopper and configured to selectively permit egress between the hopper and the base. The spreader tool further includes one or more motors that is operably coupled to a power unit and the impeller and the distribution gate. The one or more motors is configured to selectively rotate the impeller and the distribution gate. The spreader tool further includes a handle having a trigger assembly. The trigger assembly being configured to selectively command articulation of energy from the power unit to operate the motor to rotate the impeller and the distribution gate.

Portable granular particle spreader
A portable granular material spreader including an enclosure adapted to dispense granular material through an outlet, and a pressurized air source. A chamber has first, second, and third passageways, and containing a distributor therein, the first passageway in fluid communication with the outlet to receive the granular material by virtue of gravity from the outlet with the distributor controlling a flow rate of the granular material in the chamber, the second passageway in fluid communication with the pressurized air source, and the third passageway for discharging the granular material entrained in pressurized air from the pressurized air source. A conduit being in fluid communication with the second passageway and the enclosure, the conduit end being sufficiently distal from the outlet to not result in aerating the granular material proximate the outlet while preventing a reverse flow of the granular material at the outlet during operation of the spreader.
