Systems And Methods For Ozone Water Generator
A novel cell for generating ozonated water, the cell comprises a nafion membrane separating a diamond coated anode, and a gold surfaced cathode enclosed within a cell housing with the catalyst side of the nafion membrane facing the cathode. The cell housing has a cathode housing portion and an anode housing portion separated by the membrane, each housing portion having ridges to enhance substantially even flow of fluid over the cathode and anode. The housing portions contain O-rings in grooves to prevent leaks, and alignment features to keep the electrodes aligned. The cathode and anode have an array of holes allowing fluid to penetrate to the surface of the niobium membrane. Input ports allow fluid to flow into the housing and over the anode and cathode and then out of the housing through outlet ports. The housing may also incorporate an integrated spectral photometer including a bubble trap.

Ballast Water Treatment System And Method
A water treatment system and a ballast water treatment method. A ballast water treatment system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first ballast water supply pipe for receiving a supply of ballast water from a first sea chest positioned in a non-explosion-proof area of a ship; an electrolytic bath for electrolyzing the ballast water supplied from the first ballast water supply pipe; a second ballast water supply pipe for receiving a supply of ballast water from a second sea chest, which is positioned in an explosion-proof area of the ship, and supplying the ballast water to a ballast tank of the ship; a filter provided to the second ballast water supply pipe so as to filter the ballast water passing through the second ballast water supply pipe; and a third ballast water supply pipe connected to the second ballast water supply pipe so as to supply the ballast water, which has been electrolyzed from the electrolytic bath, to the ballast water which has passed through the filter.
OXYGEN EVOLUTION REACTION CATALYSIS
An oxygen evolution reaction catalyst is a ternary metal oxide that includes Mn and is represented by Mn.sub.uSb.sub.vO.sub.w in the rutile crystal phase and M.sub.xMn.sub.yO.sub.z where M is selected from the group consisting of Ca, Ni, Sr, Zn, Mg, Ni, Ba, Co and where u/(u+v) is greater than 33%.
WATER RECOVERY APPARATUS AND ELECTRODIALYSIS DEVICE
Wastewater containing scale components, organic substances, inorganic ions, and the like, such as human effluent, generated in a closed system space, such as a nuclear shelter, a hazardous shelter, a space station or a moon-Mars mission manned spacecraft, or a lunar base is efficiently treated by a simple structural apparatus, so that water is recovered. After a hardness component is removed from water to be treated, such as human effluent, by a softening device, and heat exchange is performed between softening treated water and electrolysis treated water by a heat exchanger, by a high-temperature and high-pressure electrolysis device, organic substances, urea, ammonia, and the like are removed by electrolysis performed under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. After the electrolysis treated water is processed by a deaeration treatment using a deaeration membrane device, a desalting treatment is performed by acid/alkali manufacturing electrodialysis devices and provided in series at two stages.
Device for advanced degradation of organic wastewater and application thereof
A three-dimensional electrode-ozone oxidation-electrocatalytic membrane coupled wastewater treatment device, including a circulating fluidized bed reactor. The circulating fluidized bed reactor includes a funnel-shaped internal, a truncated cone, a fiber ball filter, a gas-liquid distribution plate, an inner cylinder, an intermediate cylinder and an outer cylinder. The inner cylinder, the intermediate cylinder and the outer cylinder are coaxial. The inner cylinder is an electrocatalytic membrane assembly; the intermediate cylinder is a gas diffusion electrode; and the outer cylinder is a stainless-steel mesh. A particle electrode is filled between the intermediate cylinder and the outer cylinder, and between the intermediate cylinder and the inner cylinder. The intermediate cylinder is connected to a negative electrode. The inner cylinder and the outer cylinder are connected to a positive electrode. A wastewater treatment method using the device is also provided herein.
WATER SUPPLY OXYGENATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for producing a continuous supply of water. The systems generally comprise an electrolyzer module fluidly connectable to a hydrogen storage system and a water-capture unit for generating water, the water-capture unit electrically connectable to a photovoltaic panel and to a hydrogen fuel cell.
REACTIVE ELECTROCHEMICAL MEMBRANE FILTRATION
A system and method for algal harvesting and destabilization are provided. The system includes a multifunctional reactive electrochemical membrane (REM). The application of an electrical current generates reactive species at the REM surface and oxidizes algae and soluble organic compounds. This novel type of membrane filtration avoids the use of harmful chemical additives. In addition, it provides the benefits of avoiding polymer aging, membrane fouling, and high costs caused by high transmembrane pressures and frequent membrane cleaning. Traditional membrane separation that significantly suffers from membrane fouling due to either the formation of a cake layer of algal cells, or more commonly due to organic matter adsorption onto the membrane surface is significantly avoided.
