OZONE GENERATOR FOR OZONE SANITIZATION AND DISINFECTION OF ICE MAKERS
An ozone generator for producing ozone water for the sanitation and disinfection of an ice maker includes cathode plates and anode plates that are arranged alternatively in an electrolysis chamber. The cathode plates and the anode plates are connected to a cathode wire and an anode wire of a cable. A wiring chamber is provided with a temperature sensor extending into the electrolysis chamber and connected with a temperature sensor wire of the cable. The cable is connected to a control circuit. The ozone generator is submerged in the ice-making water of the ice-making water tank. The temperature sensor of the ozone generator submerged in the ice-making water is configured to sense temperature changes. When the ice maker is activated, the temperature of the ice-making water in the ice-making water tank will drop. When the temperature drops to the set temperature, the ozone generator is activated once to produce ozone gas. The ozone gas is dissolved in the ice-making water to generate ozone water. The ozone water is used to sanitize the ice-making loop process of the ice maker. The ozone generator has simple structure, low cost and good effect.
FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM INCLUDING A DISINFECTANT DEVICE
A fluid delivery system illustratively includes a spout, at least one valve in fluid communication with the spout, and a disinfectant device, illustratively an antibacterial device, fluidly coupled to the spout. The faucet is configured to selectively flow water through the disinfectant device in response to a user input to the faucet. In another illustrative embodiment, the fluid delivery system includes an outer housing, a plurality of fluid devices supported by the outer housing, and an ozone generator fluidly coupled to the fluid devices.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF WATER PURIFICATION UTILIZING AN IONOMER MEMBRANE
A water purification system utilizes an ionomer membrane and mild vacuum to draw water from source water through the membrane. A water source may be salt water or a contaminated water source. The water drawn through the membrane passes across the condenser chamber to a condenser surface where it is condensed into purified water. The condenser surface may be metal or any other suitable surface and may be flat or pleated. In addition, the condenser surface may be maintained at a lower temperature than the water on the water source side of the membrane. The ionomer membrane may be configured in a cartridge, a pleated or flat plate configuration. A latent heat loop may be configured to carry the latent heat of vaporization from the condenser back to the water source side of the ionomer membrane. The source water may be heated by a solar water heater.
Method for electrolysis-ozone-corrosion inhibitor/electrolysis-ozone-hydrogen peroxide-corrosion inhibitor coupling treatment on toxic and refractory wastewater
A method for electrolysis-ozone-corrosion inhibitor/electrolysis-ozone-hydrogen peroxide-corrosion inhibitor coupling treatment on toxic and refractory wastewater includes the following steps: adding toxic and refractory wastewater to be treated into a wastewater treatment reaction tank equipped with a plate anode and a plate cathode, and starting a direct current (DC) power supply connected to the plate anode and the plate cathode to treat the toxic and refractory wastewater at an appropriate current density under stirring, during which a corrosion inhibitor and hydrogen peroxide are added to the toxic and refractory wastewater to be treated and ozone is introduced into the toxic and refractory wastewater to be treated through an aeration device. The method can increase the production rate and production quantity of free radicals in a reaction system, effectively improve the treatment efficiency for toxic and refractory wastewater, and reduce the treatment cost.
Electrolyzed water generator and electrolyzed water generation system
An electrolyzed water generator includes anode, cathode, and cation exchange membrane provided between anode and cathode so as to be in contact with at least one of anode and cathode. Gaps in which a flow of water occurs are present between cation exchange membrane and at least one of anode and cathode.
Method to prepare graphene coated sponges, sponges obtained thereof, electrodes obtained from such sponges and uses of the sponges for water treatment
The present invention is directed to a method to prepare a graphene coated sponge comprising: filling mineral wool with a solution comprising graphene material by successive squeezing to obtain a mineral wool soaked with graphene material; transferring the mineral wool soaked with graphene material into a hydrothermal reactor and submitting it to heating from 60 to 240° C. for 5 minutes to 72 hours to have graphene material bonded to mineral wool and cleaning the heated material to remove the unbonded graphene material and reaction by-products from the graphene coated mineral wool. The present invention also relates to a graphene coated sponge obtained by the mentioned method and the use of such graphene sponge as water-treating agent.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL REMEDIATION OF CONTAMINANTS
An electrochemical contaminant remediation system includes a conditioning tank and a flow-through electrochemical reactor. The flow-through electrochemical reactor includes a housing having an internal liquid flow-path. A first electrode is disposed within the internal liquid flow path. A second electrode is spaced apart from the flow-through or solid first electrode, thereby creating an electroactive gap between the flow-through or solid first electrode and the second electrode.
