The contaminated water can optionally be effluent from open pit ponds and subterranean mining, produced water from oil and gas activities (upstream, midstream and downstream), ash ponds from the utilities industry, red mud ponds from aluminum production among many industries that produce industrial wastewater with heavy inorganic material concentration.

A water treatment equipment includes a reaction chamber, a waveform generator, and a controller. The reaction chamber includes a pipe having a first electrode and a second electrode. The first and second electrodes are coupled to a waveform generator. The reaction chamber includes a water inlet, and a water outlet. The waveform generator is coupled to the first and second electrodes. The waveform generator is configured to generate an electrical current with a frequency that is substantially equal to the electrical resonance of the pipe of the reaction chamber. The controller is configured to control the waveform generator, wherein the reaction chamber is configured to enable a flow of ozone and water to be treated through the pipe.

A liquid phase catalytic exchange column with a catalyst is configured to receive hydrogen gas. The system uses the catalyst to exchange the hydrogen gas with the tritiated source yielding HT gas and tritiated water. The system monitors tritium content of the tritiated water. When a predetermined tritium level is detected, the tritiated water is released. The system also includes a gaseous permeation system comprising a permeable barrier for the selective extraction of gases.

SILVER ION BIOCIDE DELIVERY SYSTEM
A system and method for delivering silver ion biocide is described herein. The systems described relate to passing water from a water system through a silver ion release module and optional high-concentration silver ion release module. The system includes an analyzer, detector, and/or controller for monitoring the concentration of silver ion and adjusting the flow path, flow rate, temperature and/or pH of the water in order to obtain the desired concentration of silver ion. The system optionally includes other metal ions released into a water system, the concentration of which may be used to automatically calibrate the described system and/or cause the system to take actions based on the measured concentration of silver ion or of the second metal ion.
Systems and methods for sanitizing pool and spa water
Systems and methods for sanitizing pool/spa water are provided. An electrolytic chlorinator is provided which includes a combined flow, temperature, and salt concentration sensor. The electrolytic chlorinator could include an acid tank for in-situ cleaning of the electrolytic chlorinator or acidification of pool/spa water where needed. A delayed polarity reversal technique is provided for de-scaling and managing passivation of the blades of an electrolytic chlorinator. The electrolytic chlorinator could include a sacrificial anode for protecting components of the chlorinator as well as other pool/spa components. The electrolytic chlorinator could include an integral, electrically-controlled acid generator, a brine tank for periodically superchlorinating and/or shocking pool/spa water, and/or a plurality of chemical tanks/feeds for periodically injecting chemicals into the chlorinator. A combined ultraviolet (UV)/Ozone and salt (electrolytic) chlorine generator is provided, as well as: filters having integral UV sanitizers; reflective linings for UV sanitization systems; means for injecting bubbles into pool/spa water.

The present disclosure relates to an anode for generating ozone by electrolysis of water, a preparation method and use thereof, an ozone generating system, and a dental scaler. The anode includes a titanium substrate and a composite oxide layer attached to a surface of the titanium substrate. The composite oxide layer is made of a metal oxide. Metal elements in the metal oxide comprise tin, ruthenium, manganese, titanium, and nickel, and a molar ratio of tin, ruthenium, manganese, titanium, and nickel is (200-500):(2.5-20):1:(1.5-7):(5-15).
