MEDIUM FOR WATER CULTURE AND WATER CULTURE APPARATUS
A medium for water culture has a porous substance and photocatalyst particles formed of titanium-based compound particles that are supported on the porous substance, have absorption at a wavelength of 500 nm in a visible absorption spectrum, and have an absorption peak at 2,700 cm1 to 3,000 cm1 in an infrared absorption spectrum, in which a metal compound having a metal atom and a hydrocarbon group is bonded to the surface of each of the titanium-based compound particles through an oxygen atom.
ELECTROLYSIS METHOD AND DEVICE FOR WATER
The invention relates to a easily adaptable or DIY installation water cleaning device on any existing spa or pool, said cleaning device including an electrolysis module equipped with a particular boron-doped diamond electrode on silicon substrate. The inventions also relates to a method to clean water on spa or pools using a water cleaning device comprising said particular boron-doped diamond electrode present on the elecrolysis module. The invention also relates to electrolyzed bathing water for use in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the skin and for use for use in the treatment of wound healing of the skin.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATION OF REACTIVE OXYGEN SPECIES AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Reactive oxygen species formulations as well as methods for making and using such formulations. Reactive oxygen species formulations comprising one or more parent oxidants, such as peroxides, or peroxyacids, and one or more reactive oxygen species (ROS). The formulations optionally contain in addition one or more reactive species other than ROS. The reactive oxygen species and other reactive species when present provide chemical reactivity, oxidative activity and/or antimicrobial activity not provided otherwise by the parent oxidant. The invention provides methods for making such formulation and applications of such formulations. In certain formulations, ROS and other reactive species are generated in situ in the formulation by an activation event, such as a change in pH to an activation pH, a change in temperature, irradiation with electromagnetic radiation or by the addition of one or more precursors or a combination of precursors. In certain formulations, peracid containing precursors are activated by adjusting the pH of the formulation to be within an activation pH range for generation of singlet oxygen. In other formulations, formulations containing peracid and superoxide also evolve singlet oxygen. Formulations containing different combinations of ROS exhibit differences in oxidation activity and antimicrobial activity.
METHOD FOR REMOVING PPCPS IN DRINKING WATER TREATMENT PROCESS
A method for removing PPCPs in a drinking water treatment process, includes the following operations: introducing, by using a manner of bottom microporous aeration, a mixture gas of O.sub.2 and O.sub.3 in which a volume percentage of O.sub.3 is 5% to 10% to an ozone contact reaction column (1) in which a cathode (3) and an anode (2) are disposed at the bottom, and a direct current is applied to the cathode and the anode; while the mixture gas is being introduced, adding, to the ozone contact reaction column (1), PPCPs containing water to be treated, with a hydraulic retention time of 10 s to 40 min, and discharging the water in real time. Further disclosed is the use of the method for removing PPCPs in a drinking water treatment process in preparation of drinking water.
COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR TREATING AND REMEDIATING AQUEOUS WASTE STREAMS
An apparatus for treating a stream of contaminated water having an elevated concentration of at least one of light metals, heavy metals, sulfates that includes at least one process fluid inlet communicating with a process conduit; at least one electrode reaction vessel in fluid communication with the process conduit, the reaction vessel having an interior chamber and at least one electrode positioned in the reaction chamber, the electrode powered by a alternating current source; and at least one magnetic field reaction vessel in fluid communication with the process conduit, the magnetic field reaction vessel having an outwardly oriented surface and an opposed inwardly oriented surface, the magnetic field reaction vessel having at least one magnet in contact with the inwardly oriented surface of the magnetic field reaction vessel.
LIQUID TREATMENT DEVICE
A liquid treatment device includes an electron emitting element, a first power supply; and a second power supply. The electron emitting element including a first electrode which is disposed facing water. The first power supply discharges electrons from the first electrode by applying a drive voltage to the electron emitting element. The second power supply applies a collection voltage between the first electrode and the water. The liquid treatment device preferably controls a substance added to the water by controlling the drive voltage.
Recessed profile
The invention relates to a recessed hollow profile for mounting to a wall system in a wall of a building, which allows ventilation with efficient decentralised energy recovery. The invention also relates to a system for ventilating a room.
Configuration for electrochemical water treatment
An electrochemical water treatment apparatus includes a treatment chamber formed by at least one wall and having an opening formed along the side for substantially the length of the treatment chamber, with a mounting plate applied to the opening. A set of cathodes and anodes are mounted to the mounting plate and positioned inside the chamber, each of the anodes having at least one cathode positioned on each of the two sides of the respective anode. At least two anode bus bars and two cathode bus bars are provided, each bus bar connectable to the power supply and connected to the respective electrodes near a respective end of the electrodes. An inlet adapter has a smaller cross sectional area at the first end connected to the treatment chamber inlet end, and a larger cross sectional area at the opposite end connected to the source of water to be treated. An outlet adapter has a smaller cross sectional area at the first end connected to the treatment chamber outlet end, and a larger cross sectional area at the second end connected to the destination for the treated water.
A CARCASS CLEANING SYSTEM
A carcass cleaning system. Specifically, a system for cleaning an animal carcass using potable water passed through an offline treatment system and the application of this treated water to the surface of the carcass, for example, by running through a bath or by spraying or nebulisation at or onto the surface of the carcass. The invention finds utility in the fields of butchery and slaughtering o animals in the preparation for
OXYGENATED WATER MANUFACTURING DEVICE
The present invention relates to an oxygenated water manufacturing device, which can be used in various fields because it can be applied to and used for not only mineral water or purified water, but also other various drinks such as tap water, barley tea, green tea, corn silk tea, and soju by using a specific configuration, which allows use of only high-purity oxygen from which ozone, which is produced with oxygen when mineral water is electrolyzed, and various inorganic substances and organic substances such as calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and silicon (Si) contained in the mineral water are completely filtered out, and which completely prevents a phenomenon in which oxygen is not generated by deformation of an ion resin membrane disposed between an anode (+) and a cathode () in the oxygen generator due to a water-drying phenomenon in the hydrogen outlet.
