Proposed are an ozone generating electrode, a method of manufacturing the same, and a method of producing ozone using the same. The ozone generating electrode includes a support including a metal, a catalyst layer positioned on one surface or both surfaces of the support, and a coating layer positioned on the catalyst layer and including a metal oxide. The ozone generating electrode is energy efficient, stable, and provides a high concentration of ozone to a water system. In addition, when water treatment is performed with the ozone generating electrode of the present invention, it is possible to more effectively decompose pollutants during water treatment and to reduce the electrode replacement cycle, thereby reducing water treatment operation time and cost.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SELECTIVE OXIDATION OF MACROMOLECULAR ORGANIC POLLUTANTS USING FREE RADICALS PRODUCED IN HETEROGENEOUS FENTON REACTION
Disclosed is a device for selective oxidation of macromolecular organic pollutants using free radicals produced in a heterogeneous Fenton reaction. The device includes a heterogeneous Fenton reaction unit and an electrochemical cell. The heterogeneous Fenton reaction unit includes a reactor and an anion exchange membrane. The anion exchange membrane is disposed in the reactor and separates the reactor into a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber is filled with a catalyst and the wastewater to be treated; and the second chamber is filled with a dielectric material. The electrochemical cell is configured to supply an electric field to the reactor, so that organic acids generated by a heterogeneous Fenton reaction move from the first chamber into the second chamber.
Liquid treatment device
A liquid treatment device includes an electron emitting element, a first power supply, and a second power supply. The electron emitting element including a first electrode which is disposed facing water. The first power supply discharges electrons from the first electrode by applying a drive voltage to the electron emitting element. The second power supply applies a collection voltage between the first electrode and the water. The liquid treatment device preferably controls a substance added to the water by controlling the drive voltage.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SELECTIVELY REMOVING PERFLUORINATED COMPOUND
A device for selectively removing a perfluorinated compound may include an adsorption electrooxidation tank including a reaction unit having a plurality of electrodes and granular activated carbon configured to oxidize and decompose a perfluorinated compound in raw water through adsorption and electrooxidation, a power supply device configured to supply power to the adsorption electrooxidation tank, and a head adjustment pipe unit configured to maintain a water level within the reaction unit at a height greater than or equal to a reaction height of the electrode.
Ballast water treatment system and method
A water treatment system and a ballast water treatment method. A ballast water treatment system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first ballast water supply pipe for receiving a supply of ballast water from a first sea chest positioned in a non-explosion-proof area of a ship; an electrolytic bath for electrolyzing the ballast water supplied from the first ballast water supply pipe; a second ballast water supply pipe for receiving a supply of ballast water from a second sea chest, which is positioned in an explosion-proof area of the ship, and supplying the ballast water to a ballast tank of the ship; a filter provided to the second ballast water supply pipe so as to filter the ballast water passing through the second ballast water supply pipe; and a third ballast water supply pipe connected to the second ballast water supply pipe so as to supply the ballast water, which has been electrolyzed from the electrolytic bath, to the ballast water which has passed through the filter.
NOVEL ELECTROCATALYTIC MEMBRANE REACTOR AND USE THEREOF IN PREPARATION OF HIGH-PURITY HYDROGEN
The disclosure provides a novel electrocatalytic membrane reactor and use thereof in preparation of high-purity hydrogen. The electrocatalytic membrane reactor adopts an H-shaped electrolytic tank in which a cathode chamber is isolated from an anode chamber through a diaphragm, a membrane electrode is used as an anode, an auxiliary electrode is used as a cathode, a direct-current regulated power supply supplies a constant current, and the flow of a reaction solution is realized through a pump. In the disclosure, electrocatalysis is coupled with a membrane separation function, an oxygen evolution reaction is replaced with an organic electrochemical oxidation reaction in the anode chamber so as to reduce the overpotential of the oxygen evolution reaction, and a hydrogen evolving reaction is performed in the cathode chamber to prepare high-purity hydrogen.

ROTATIONAL ELECTRO-OXIDATION REACTOR WITH IMPROVED BOUNDARY-LAYER DIFFUSION
An electrochemical oxidation reactor includes rotatable electrodes inside a reactor vessel. The electrodes treat liquid within the reactor and are mounted to support plates, which in turn are mounted on each of two independently-driven shafts. The plates are attached to each other in a spaced relationship so that a gap is formed therebetween. The gap is sized to receive liquid to be treated so that liquid located within the gap will react with the electrodes. The shafts are rotatable at equal or different relative rotational speeds and directions. Additionally, each shaft may be independently linearly displaced in an oscillatory movement at equal or different frequencies. The relative shaft rotation, direction and axial vibration translate similar movements to the electrodes and such movement generates turbulence to the liquid located within the gap. The turbulence increases the interaction between liquid and the electrodes.
