A small sewage treatment plant comprises a first sewage tank in which a preliminary clarification takes place due to the sinking of solid particles to the bottom of the first sewage tank, and a filtering device in a second sewage tank, which filtering device comprises several filters and to which the pre-clarified sewage is fed from above for further clarification. The filtering device has a rotary plate which is rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation and stores several filter containers, each filter container including several filters arranged above each other. In a lid of the second sewage tank, a closable tank opening is provided, via which at least one filter is removable when the associated filter container is opposite to the tank opening after a corresponding rotation of the rotary plate.

PLASTIC TANK WITH HIGH STRENGTH ENDWALL

A septic tank for storing and treating wastewater may be provided. In one implementation, a septic tank, having a first lengthwise end, an opposing second lengthwise end, a top, a bottom, a horizontal centerplane, and a vertical lengthwise centerplane, and a basic wall thickness T may be provided. The septic tank may include corrugated walls and an oblong flange lying nominally in the horizontal centerplane. The tank may further include opposing endwalls, each endwall integrally connecting an end of a first sidewall to an end of a second sidewall. The endwalls may include an endwall top, an endwall side running from the upper half tank flange to the endwall top along an inward slant, and the endwall side may along a curve which is a semicircle or a portion of a curve.

Grey water treatment systems and methods of treating grey water

A grey water treatment system includes a first tank configured to receive grey water via a grey water supply conduit and that comprises an overflow, a second tank configured to store grey water, and at least one transfer conduit configured to at least transfer grey water between the first tank and the second tank. A control is configured to maintain a water level in said first tank sufficiently close to the overflow to allow floating contaminants to pass over the overflow. A method of treating grey water includes: receiving grey water in a first tank of a grey water treatment system; transferring grey water via at least one transfer conduit between the first tank and a second tank of said treatment system; and controlling a water level in said first tank sufficiently close to an overflow of said first tank to allow floating contaminants to pass over the overflow.

Apparatus and method for recycling blackwater and greywater at oil and gas well sites

A bioreactor for a water treatment system includes an aerator tank configured to receive an influent liquid, and a clarifier positioned in the aerator tank, the clarifier having a generally conical shape and defining a downwardly-facing opening. An interior of the clarifier is in communication with the aerator tank, external to the clarifier, at least via the downwardly-facing opening, and wherein the clarifier is positioned non-concentrically with the aerator tank. The bioreactor further includes a plurality of aeration vents positioned proximal to a bottom of the tank and configured to direct air into the aerator tank, and an effluent outlet positioned in the clarifier. A relatively clean effluent liquid, in comparison to the influent liquid in the aerator tank, exits from the clarifier via the effluent outlet.

A wastewater treatment system is a septic tank adjacent to an aeration chamber. The aeration chamber has a tertiary baffle and a circular current of fluid wherein the circular current produces a down flow current of liquid past the tertiary baffle. This current prevents suspended particles from passing through the tertiary baffle.

A system to treat effluent in a septic tank includes filter sections having kerfs. A strainer removes solid debris from the filter for removal without allowing the solid debris to pass. An aerator includes an eight to twelve inch diameter pipe 4 to 6 feet tall matching tank invert height. The aerator has bottom inlet holes, each with an elbow on the outside with a vertical standpipe taking effluent from the clear zone, sending it through the aerator. Air inlet piping is attached to a “T” shaped air diffuser producing bubbles traveling upward through plastic media. Aerator height is field adjusted to approximately 2 inches below static water level. Holes in the upper sidewalls just below the top let air bubbles out sideways. At its top, the aerator has a slotted, sliding, anti-turbulation collar adjusted to be one to two inches above the static water level.
