GLASS CONTAINER, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
20190135685 · 2019-05-09 ·

A glass container has a container main body made of glass and a coating film formed on a surface of the container main body. The coating film is made of tin oxide or titanium oxide, and the film thickness of the coating film ranges from 40 nm to 50 nm. In the depth profile obtained by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis, an atomic percentage of sodium at a point where a tin or titanium profile intersects a silicon profile is 2% or less.

COATING APPRATUS FOR CONTAINERS

The invention relates to a coating apparatus also called coating tunnel or coating hood for applying a protective coating to hollow glass containers. In particular it relates to a coating apparatus also called coating tunnel or coating hood with a guidance plate for the carrier gas comprising a coating compound for applying the protective coatings to glass containers. The present invention also relates to a coating apparatus also called coating tunnel or coating hood with a guidance plate installed between the inner side wall and the outer wall of the tunnel where the conveyer belt with the containers is passing by.

Method for producing a pane having an electrically conductive coating with electrically insulated defects

A method for producing a pane having an electrically conductive coating is described. The method includes applying an electrically conductive coating onto a substrate, identifying defects of the coating, focusing the radiation of a laser having an annular beam profile on the coating, wherein the annular beam profile surrounds the defect, and producing an annular de-coated region by simultaneously removing the coating in the region of the beam profile.

Flash annealing of transparent conductive oxide and semiconductor coatings

Methods of processing coated articles, such as transparencies, are provided comprising flash annealing one or more layers of the coated article. The one or more layers may be reflective metallic layers, such as silver layers, or comprise a transparent conductive oxide, such as indium tin oxide, or a semiconductor.

Method for Producing Flexible Substrate, Flexible Substrate and Flexible Display Panel
20190062920 · 2019-02-28 ·

The present disclosure relates to a method for producing flexible substrate, a flexible substrate, and a flexible display panel. The method comprises: providing a substrate, and forming a first flexible material layer on a surface of the substrate; forming an inorganic barrier layer on a surface of the first flexible material layer, wherein the inorganic barrier layer includes at least one of a silicon oxide material layer and a silicon nitride material layer; after forming the inorganic barrier layer, performing a plasma bombardment treatment on the surface of the inorganic barrier layer to improve the wettability of the surface of the inorganic barrier layer; and forming a second flexible material layer on the surface of the inorganic barrier layer, and then peeling off the substrate. The second flexible material layer can be well attached to the inorganic barrier layer. The present disclosure can simplify the producing process and decrease cost.

Indium tin oxide thin films with both near-infrared transparency and excellent resistivity
10167545 · 2019-01-01 · ·

An indium tin oxide film containing by weight about 90% In.sub.2O.sub.3 and about 10% SnO.sub.2 is prepared using a low-energy deposition sputter process on a substrate. The indium tin oxide film thus obtained has a carrier concentration on the order of 10.sup.20/cm.sup.3 and a carrier mobility greater than 30 cm.sup.2/Vs. The low carrier concentration results in an increased transmission in the near infra-red region, while the high carrier mobility results in good conductive properties.

A coated glass article includes a coating formed over a glass substrate. The coating comprises an optional base layer of an oxide of silicon, a first coating layer of an oxide of titanium, niobium or chromium, a second coating layer of an oxide of silicon, and a third coating layer of an oxide of tin. The coated glass article exhibits a Tvis of 40%-55% and an Rf of 40%-60%. A video display can be mounted behind the coated glass article, such that when the video display is in operation it is visible through the coated glass article and when the video display is not in operation is it concealed by the coated glass article.
