AUGMENTED REALITY HEADSET SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SURGICAL PLANNING AND GUIDANCE FOR KNEE SURGERY
Examples of systems and methods described herein may utilize augmented reality devices and pointers in generating intra-operative plans and providing guidance for knee surgery. A pointer may indicate one or more anatomical points. An augmented reality device may detect positions of knee anatomical features based on a position of the pointer and positions of fiducials associated with a marker affixed to body part proximate to a knee, such as a femur or a tibia. The augmented reality device may generate a planned resection plane based on the positions of the knee anatomical features, and determine an actual resection plane based on a view of a resection guide having a marker inserted in the guide. The augmented reality device may provide guidance to position the guide to align the actual resection plane with the planned resection plane.
Methods, systems and devices for pre-operatively planned glenoid placement guides and uses thereof
Methods, systems and devices for pre-operatively planned shoulder surgery guides and implants. Pre-operative planning methods for designing glenoid placement guides and depth-control pins based on considerations of multiple factors affecting the outcome of shoulder surgery. Methods of using surgery guides and implants, including glenoid placement guides and depth-control pins, in patients undergoing shoulder surgery.
Water smoking pipe device and kit
A kit for use in forming a water pipe includes a glass tube defining a bowl housing at a proximal end thereof and a smoke outlet at a distal end thereof. The glass tube is configured for insertion into a bottle. A grommet is configured for positioning in a sidewall of the bottle. The grommet is configured to receive the glass tube therethrough. A drill bit is configured for forming a hole in the sidewall of the bottle. The hole is configured to receive the grommet therein. A drill bit guide is configured to be secured against the sidewall of the bottle. The drill bit guide is configured to guide a path of the drill bit as the drill bit forms the hole in the sidewall of the bottle.

Surgical fastening
Methods of joint repair employing sutures and attached fixation devices are discussed. For example, a bone block graft procedure (e.g., Latarjet) is discussed which employs fixation devices to secure contact between graft surfaces of two bones. A suture construct, including a continuous suture loop routed through a first fastener, is secured to a first bone. Looped ends of the suture loop are passed through passageways formed in the two bones. The looped suture ends are further routed through a second fastener. The second fastener is mounted to the second bone and a sliding knot, formed in the looped suture ends, is advanced into contact with the second fastener. The suture is further tensioned using a tensioner device to secure the two bones together.
Surgical drill guides and systems
Surgical drill guides having a guide shaft and a set of distal guide teeth extending from the guide shaft. The guide shaft has proximal and distal portions having two distinct inner and outer diameters, with a tapered zone extending between the two portions. Wall thickness is maintained or increased from the proximal portion to the distal portion of the shaft, reinforcing the rigidity of both the shaft and the distal guide teeth.

Surgical system with base tracking
A surgical system includes an arm extending from the base and having a distal end configured to be coupled to a tool, a first marker coupled in fixed relation to the base, and a tracking system. The tracking system is configured to collect first data indicative of a position of the first marker and collect second data indicative of a position an anatomical feature of a patient. The surgical system also includes a processor configured to calculate a position of the tool relative to the anatomical feature based on the first data and the second data.
SURGICAL GUIDANCE FOR SURGICAL TOOLS
An example physical tracking tool includes a main body defining a channel configured to receive a tool, the channel having a longitudinal axis; and one or more physical tracking features attached to the main body, each physical tracking feature comprising a plurality of planar faces, each planar face of the plurality of planar faces including different a graphical pattern of a plurality of graphical patterns.
Individual packaging arrangement for orthopedic tools
A protective member for a medical instrument includes a body portion having an inner side wall defining an interior, configured to receive at least a portion of the medical instrument. The body portion also includes a first end and a second end, wherein at least one of the first end and the second end is configured to at least partially close the respective first end and/or second end of the body portion. The at least partially closed first end and/or second end is configured to be opened for use of the medical instrument, such that the medical instrument can pass through both the first and second ends of the body portion during use, while the inner side wall surrounds a portion of the medical instrument. The body portion is configured for use during a medical procedure using the medical instrument, for example, as a tissue protector or a drilling guide.
