Low-E matchable coated articles having doped seed layer under silver, and corresponding methods
A low-E coating has good color stability (a low E* value) upon heat treatment (HT). Thermal stability may be improved by the provision of an as-deposited crystalline or substantially crystalline layer of or including zinc oxide, doped with at least one dopant (e.g., Sn), immediately under an infrared (IR) reflecting layer of or including silver; and/or by the provision of at least one dielectric layer of or including at least one of: (a) an oxide of silicon and zirconium, (b) an oxide of zirconium, and (c) an oxide of silicon. These have the effect of significantly improving the coating's thermal stability (i.e., lowering the E* value).
SILVER COLORED COATED ARTICLE WITH LOW-E COATING HAVING ABSORBER LAYER AND LOW VISIBLE TRANSMISSION
A low-emissivity (low-E) coating on a substrate (e.g., glass substrate) includes at least first and second infrared (IR) reflecting layers (e.g., silver based layers) that are spaced apart by contact layers (e.g., NiCr based layers), a layer comprising silicon nitride, and an absorber layer of or including a material such as niobium zirconium which may be oxided and/or nitrided. The absorber layer is designed to allow the coated article to realize glass side reflective (equivalent to exterior reflective in an IG window unit when the coating is provided on surface #2 of an IG window unit) silver color. In certain example embodiments, the coated article (monolithic form and/or in IG window unit form) has a low visible transmission (e.g., from 15-45%, more preferably from 22-39%, and most preferably from 24-35%). In certain example embodiments, the coated article may be heat treated (e.g., thermally tempered and/or heat bent).
Interior Coatings for Glass Structures in Electronic Devices
An electronic device may include electrical components and other components mounted within a housing. The device may have a display on a front face of the device and may have a glass layer that forms part of the housing on a rear face of the device. The glass layer and other glass structures in the electronic device may be provided with coatings. An interior coating on a glass layer may include multiple layers of material such as an adhesion promotion layer, thin-film layers of materials such as silicon, niobium oxide and other metal oxides, and metals to help adjust the appearance of the coating. A metal layer may be formed on top of the coating to serve as an environmental protection layer and opacity enhancement layer. In some configurations, the coating may include four layers.
IG window unit having triple silver coating and dielectric coating on opposite sides of glass substrate
An insulating glass (IG) window unit including first and second glass substrates that are spaced apart from each other. At least one of the glass substrate has a triple silver low-emissivity (low-E) coating on one major side thereof, and a dielectric coating for improving angular stability on the other major side thereof.
Reflective mask blank, reflective mask and method of manufacturing semiconductor device
A reflective mask blank capable of obtaining high contrast at the edges of a phase shift film pattern. Provided is a reflective mask blank comprising a multilayer reflective film and a phase shift film that shifts the phase of EUV light formed in that order on a substrate, wherein root mean square roughness (Rms), obtained by measuring a 1 m1 m region on the surface of the phase shift film with an atomic force microscope, is not more than 0.50 nm, and power spectrum density at a spatial frequency of 10 to 100 m.sup.1 is not more than 17 nm.sup.4.
TRANSPARENT SUBSTRATE WITH ANTIREFLECTIVE FILM
Provided is an antireflective-film attached transparent substrate having a luminous transmittance of 20% to 84% and a b* value of a transmission color being 5 or smaller under a D65 light source, in which the antireflective film has a luminous reflectance being 1% or lower and a sheet resistance being 10.sup.4/ or higher, and in which the antireflective film has a multilayer structure built up of at least two layers, at least one layer is constituted mainly of silicon oxide, and at least another layer is constituted mainly of a mixed oxide of at least one oxide of Mo and W and at least one oxide of Si, Nb, Ti, Zr, Ta, Al, Sn, and In, and has an extinction coefficient at 550 nm being in a range of 0.005 to 3.
Heat treatable coated glass pane
A coated glass pane comprising at least the following layers: a glass substrate and at least one absorbing layer based on at least one metal silicide and/or metal silicide nitride wherein the at least one absorbing layer is embedded between and contacts two layers based on an (oxi)nitride of Si and/or an (oxi)nitride of Al and/or alloys thereof.
Mask blank substrate, multi-layer reflective film coated substrate, and mask blank
The object is to provide a mask blank substrate, a mask blank, and a transfer mask which can achieve easy correction of a wavefront by a wavefront correction function of an exposure apparatus. The further object is to provide methods for manufacturing them. A virtual surface shape, which is an optically effective flat reference surface shape defined by a Zernike polynomial, is determined, wherein the Zernike polynomial is composed of only terms in which the order of variables related to a radius is second or lower order and includes one or more terms in which the order of the variables related to a radius is second-order; and the mask blank substrate, in which difference data (PV value) between the maximum value and the minimum value of difference shape between a virtual surface shape and a composite surface shape obtained by composing respective surface shapes of two main surfaces is 25 nm or less, is selected.
