PROJECTION ASSEMBLY FOR A HEAD-UP DISPLAY (HUD) WITH P-POLARISED RADIATION
A projection assembly for a head-up display (HUD) includes a windshield, including an outer and inner pane joined to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer, and having an HUD region; and a projector directed at the HUD region. The radiation of the projector is predominantly p-polarised, and the windshield is provided with a reflective coating, which is suitable for reflecting p-polarised radiation. The reflective coating has exactly one electrically conductive layer and arranged one above and one below the electrically conductive layer are two dielectric layer sequences, each including n low-optical-refraction layers having an index of refraction less than 1.8 and (n+1) high-optical-refraction layers having an index of refraction greater than 1.8, arranged alternatingly in each case, wherein n is an integer greater than or equal to 1.

Provided are an adhesion promoting layer, a method for depositing a conductive layer on an inorganic or organic-inorganic hybrid substrate and a conductive structure. The adhesion promoting layer is suitable for depositing a conductive layer on an inorganic or organic-inorganic hybrid substrate, which includes a metal oxide layer and an interface layer. The metal oxide layer is disposed on the inorganic or organic-inorganic hybrid substrate. The interface layer is disposed between the metal oxide layer and the inorganic or organic-inorganic hybrid substrate. The metal oxide layer includes metal oxide and a chelating agent. The interface layer includes the metal oxide, the chelating agent and metal-nonmetal-oxide composite material.

A composite pane for a head-up display, includes a first pane having a first surface and a second surface, a second pane having a first surface and a second surface, and a thermoplastic intermediate layer, which is arranged between the second surface of the first pane and the first surface (III) of the second pane, an HUD region, and a first coating for reflecting p-polarized radiation and has exactly one electrically conductive layer based on silver, wherein a second coating for reducing the total transmitted thermal radiation is provided.
COATED ARTICLE WITH IR REFLECTING LAYER AND MULTILAYER OVERCOAT FOR REDUCING FINGERPRINTS
A low-E (low emissivity) coating includes a multilayer overcoat designed for reducing fingerprints. The multilayer overcoat includes a layer comprising an oxide of zirconium (e.g., ZrO.sub.2) sandwiched between and contacting first and second layers of or including silicon nitride (e.g., Si.sub.3N.sub.4, SiO.sub.xN.sub.y, SiZrO.sub.xN.sub.y, or the like). The uppermost layer comprising silicon nitride modifies the surface energy of the layer comprising the oxide of zirconium so as to make the uppermost surface of the coating more hydrophilic, thereby reducing or minimizing interaction between zirconium oxide and finger oil to reduce fingerprints on the uppermost surface of the coating.

The present disclosure relates to a mixture that includes a perovskite precursor, a solvent, and an additive that includes at least one of a first amine, a ketone, an aldehyde, a non-nucleophilic sterically hindered base, and/or a halogen-containing compound, where, upon removal of the solvent and the additive, the perovskite precursor is capable of being transformed into a perovskite.

A coated article includes a transparent substrate, a multilayer thin film coating disposed on the transparent substrate, and a patterned area having an enamel coating formed on at least part of the transparent substrate in a predetermined pattern, wherein the multilayer thin film coating includes a first dielectric layer, a metallic functional layer having an infrared ray reflection function, and a second dielectric layer, which are sequentially disposed in a direction away from the transparent substrate, and the patterned area includes the first dielectric layer remaining on the substrate after the second dielectric layer and the metallic functional layer are removed from the multilayer thin film coating, and the enamel coating formed on the first dielectric layer.
