Systems, Methods and Devices for Cement Manufacture
High temperature furnaces, calcining, pyrolysis and other high temperature manufacturing processes, composition rearrangements, and equipment. Systems, equipment and processes using oxyfuel combustion using gaseous fuels for cement manufacture. Reactor furnaces using oxyfuel containing natural gas and gravity feed to process pellets forming a pellet bed into cement.
Process for the production of metal oxides
The present application pertains to methods for making metal oxides and/or citric acid. In one embodiment, the application pertains to a process for producing calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, or both from a material comprising calcium and magnesium. The process may include reacting a material comprising calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. Separating, concentrating, and calcining may lead to the production of oxides such as calcium oxide or magnesium oxide. In other embodiments the application pertains to methods for producing an alkaline-earth oxide and a carboxylic acid from an alkaline earth cation-carboxylic acid anion salt. Such processes may include, for example, reacting an alkaline-earth cation-carboxylic acid anion salt with aqueous sulfur dioxide to produce aqueous alkaline-earth-bisulfite and aqueous carboxylic acid solution. Other useful steps may include desorbing, separating, and/or calcining.
CEMENT CLINKER PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND CEMENT CLINKER PRODUCTION METHOD
A cement clinker producing system, capable of providing a gas containing a carbon dioxide gas at a high concentration by increasing a carbon dioxide gas concentration for a part of an exhaust gas, includes a cyclone preheater to preheat a cement clinker raw material, a rotary kiln to burn the preheated cement clinker raw material so as to provide cement clinker, a calcination furnace to promote decarbonation of the cement clinker raw material, a clinker cooler to cool the cement clinker, a kiln exhaust-gas discharge passages to discharge an exhaust gas generated in the rotary kiln, a combustion-supporting gas supply device to supply a combustion-supporting gas having a higher oxygen concentration than air, a combustion-supporting gas supply passage to guide the combustion-supporting gas to the calcination furnace, and a calcination furnace exhaust-gas discharge passage to discharge a carbon dioxide gas-containing exhaust gas generated in the calcination furnace.
Processes for the Production of Citric Acid
Other useful steps may include desorbing, separating, and/or calcining.
METHODS, PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HYDROGEN FROM WASTE, BIOGENIC WASTE AND BIOMASS
Provided herein are novel devices, systems, and methods of using the same, that enable plasma-enhanced gasification of biogenic hydrocarbon waste material comprising: a geometrically designed reactor having a biochar carbon catalyst bed, together with a gas inlet system disposed around a lower section of the apparatus to supply oxidant gas generated by an integrated oxygen absorber system; to enhance the partial oxidation of biogenic hydrocarbon waste materials using exothermic heat generated by an oxidation reaction created in part by the integrated oxygen absorber system into the apparatus, in order to optimize the quantity and quality of hydrogen production in the synthetic gas produced therein.
Processes for the production of citric acid
The present application pertains to methods for making metal oxides and/or citric acid. In one embodiment, the application pertains to a process for producing calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, or both from a material comprising calcium and magnesium. The process may include reacting a material comprising calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. Separating, concentrating, and calcining may lead to the production of oxides such as calcium oxide or magnesium oxide. In other embodiments the application pertains to methods for producing an alkaline-earth oxide and a carboxylic acid from an alkaline earth cation—carboxylic acid anion salt. Such processes may include, for example, reacting an alkaline-earth cation—carboxylic acid anion salt with aqueous sulfur dioxide to produce aqueous alkaline-earth—bisulfite and aqueous carboxylic acid solution. Other useful steps may include desorbing, separating, and/or calcining.
CEMENT KILN BURNER DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
A cement kiln burner device includes a powdered-solid-fuel flow channel having means for swirling a powdered-solid-fuel flow; a first air flow channel placed outside the powdered-solid- fuel flow channel having means for swirling an air flow; a second air flow channel placed outside the first air flow channel having means for straightly forwarding an air flow; a third air flow channel placed inside the powdered-solid-fuel flow channel having means for swirling an air flow; and a combustible-solid-waste flow channel placed inside the third air flow channel. The second air flow channel includes an opening portion forming a port for injecting an air flow, and a closed portion covered for preventing an air flow from passing therethrough. The opening portion and the closed portion are alternately arranged in a circumferential direction.
OXYFUEL CLINKER PRODUCTION WITH SPECIAL OXYGEN ADDITION
Processes and plants for producing cement clinker, in which an oxygen-containing gas having a proportion of 15% by volume or less of nitrogen and a proportion of 50% by volume or more of oxygen is conveyed from a first section of the cooler directly adjoining the top of the furnace into the rotary furnace and is optionally additionally conveyed to the calciner, and where the total gas streams fed in to the combustion processes consist to an extent of more than 50% by volume (preferably more than 85% by volume) of oxygen.
