Wall compounds and methods of use
A wall compound for use in all applications and particularly well-suited for joining adjacent wallboards. The compound includes a latex resin, a thickener, fibers, and a filler material. In some embodiments, the repair compound is configured to exhibit at least one of yield stress and pseudoplastic-type behavior. In some embodiments, the compound includes hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers of different morphologies. In some embodiments, the wall compound includes one or more associative thickeners.

The cementitious composition comprises a cement blend and water, wherein the cement blend comprises Portland cement and pozzolan, wherein the Portland cement is present in an amount of from equal to or greater than about 0.01 wt. % to equal to or less than about 25.0 wt. % based on the total weight of the cement blend.
Methods of Making and Using a Cementitious Composition with Ultra-Low Portland Cement

Method of filling a substrate having a selected plurality of channels with a granular material
The method is for use with a substrate having a plurality of parallel channels extending therethrough. In the method, the steps comprise: filling a selected plurality of the channels with a granular material; and consolidating the granular material through heat. The selected plurality of channels is selected to produce a wall that separates the substrate into: a first portion having a first plurality of the parallel channels extending therethrough; and a second portion having a second plurality of the parallel channels extending therethrough.

A production line and process including a moving carrier web for transporting the panel, and a device for controlling thickness of a formed, but not yet set, fiber reinforced cementitious panel slurry on the web. The thickness control device may include an angled rigid plate for contacting a downstream end of the angled plate with the slurry on the moving carrier web and a mounting stand for mounting the angled rigid. The thickness control device may include a flat horizontal plate at a fixed height over the moving carrier for contacting the entire lower surface of the horizontal plate with a facer on the slurry on the moving carrier web. Or, the thickness control device may include the angled plate and include the horizontal plate that contacts the facer.

Methods for cementing thermal wells
Portland cement compositions for use in high-temperature, high pressure wells are designed such that the lime-to-silica molar ratio is between 0.5 and 1.0, and the alumina-to-silica molar ratio is between 0.05 and 0.10. After curing and setting at temperatures between 85° C. and 300° C., the cement compositions form tobermorite as an initial and permanent calcium silicate hydrate phase.

Portland cement compositions for use in high-temperature, high pressure wells are designed such that the lime-to-silica molar ratio is between 0.5 and 1.0, and the alumina-to-silica molar ratio is between 0.05 and 0.10.
