METHOD FOR PRODUCING A THERMALLY INSULATING MORTAR
A method for producing a thermally insulating mortar includes introducing water, cement and a liquid surfactant containing a foam concentrate that forms a foam in a predetermined mixing ratio into a mixing device provided with a mixing impeller, and rotating the mixing impeller at a very high speed, wherein a homogeneous mixing between the water, the cement and the formed foam occurs.

A method of producing composites from inorganic materials by processing with thermoplastic forming techniques mixtures containing one or more inorganic, fine residual materials and one or more polymers based on ethylenically unsaturated monomers in the form of protective colloid-stabilized, water-redispersible polymer powders, wherein the inorganic, fine residual materials are based on inorganic materials selected from the group consisting of gypsum, lime, talc, silicas, kaolins, silicates and titanium dioxide, and wherein the composites are based on from 5 to 80% by weight of polymers based on ethylenically unsaturated monomers and from 20 to 95% by weight of inorganic, fine residual materials, based on the total weight of polymer based on ethylenically unsaturated monomers and inorganic, fine residual materials.

Lightweight terrazzo surface composition
A terrazzo composition containing a resin component; a hardener component; and an aggregate component, where the composition has a tensile strength of about 8500 psi to about 8900 psi, a compressive strength of about 2600 psi to about 3000 psi, a Shore D Hardness of about 50 to about 100, and a weight of about 0.60 pounds per square foot at 0.25 inch thickness to about 0.76 pounds per square foot at 0.25 inch thickness.

QUICK-DRYING LIGHTWEIGHT FILL
A single- or two-component mortar composition including i) an aluminate binder, ii) a calcium sulfate binder, iii) one or more fillers with a raw density of at least 2.0 g/cm3, and iv) one or more lightweight fillers with a raw density of less than 1.5 g/cm3, wherein the quantity of lightweight filler equals 30 to 70 wt. %, the total quantity of aluminate binder and calcium sulfate binder equals 20 to 65 wt %, and the weight ratio of aluminate binder to calcium sulfate binder ranges from 1:1 to 1:10. When used, the mortar composition hardens quickly and is suitable as a lightweight fill for producing floor structures on substrates with a limited load-bearing capacity.
QUICK-DRYING LIGHTWEIGHT FILL
A single- or two-component mortar composition including i) an aluminate binder, ii) a calcium sulfate binder, iii) one or more fillers with a raw density of at least 2.0 g/cm3, and iv) one or more lightweight fillers with a raw density of less than 1.5 g/cm3, wherein the quantity of lightweight filler equals 30 to 70 wt. %, the total quantity of aluminate binder and calcium sulfate binder equals 20 to 65 wt %, and the weight ratio of aluminate binder to calcium sulfate binder ranges from 1:1 to 1:10. When used, the mortar composition hardens quickly and is suitable as a lightweight fill for producing floor structures on substrates with a limited load-bearing capacity.
MORTAR AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
The present invention relates to a mortar with a composition comprising the following components expressed in percentage by weight: 65-69% calcium sulphate; 28-33% water; and 0.01-0.1% polycarboxylic acid-based setting control additive. The invention also relates to a construction material with a composition that consists of a mortar mixture such as the aforementioned mixture and a granular material selected from among ethyl vinyl acetate, cork or marble powder. According to the invention, the construction material can be used to produce construction parts, blocks or panels, and the parts produced with said construction material can be attached to each other and/or coated with the mortar.
