USE OF PREPREGS IN STRUCTURES AS A REINFORCING MATERIAL
A prepreg suitable for use in order to reinforce a concrete or a load bearing material is provided, and the prepreg includes a polymer matrix comprising at least two components, and at least one fiber. The polymer matrix is in a ratio of 50-70% by weight relative to a total weight of the prepreg and the at least one fiber is in a ratio of 30-50% by weight relative to the total weight of the prepreg. Furthermore, the prepreg is used for damaged structures, structures with a modified structural function, or reinforcement in concretes.
Water capsules and their preparation method, preparation method and structure of lightweight concrete
The present application provides for water capsules, preparation methods of water capsules, a preparation method for lightweight concrete and a structure of lightweight concrete. Each of the water capsules comprises an alkali-sensitive shell and water inside; the water capsules are used to mix with a cementitious matrix, the water capsules can survive during concrete mixing and transportation processes but then gradually rupture in hardened concrete; the water released during the hardening of the concrete is beneficial for the hydration of the concrete. The water capsules and their preparation method, the preparation method for and structure of the lightweight concrete of the present application are of unique design and strong practicability.

Coated fibers for enhanced concrete structural reinforcement
Fibers to be added to concrete to improve its properties are coated with an alkali-insoluble polymer, to provide adhesion of the fibers to the concrete. In a further improvement, nanoparticles are dispersed in an alkali-soluble polymer coating, and this is used to coat the fibers. When the fibers are mixed into the concrete mix, the nanoparticles are dispersed throughout the concrete, avoiding problems from agglomeration of the nanoparticles if simply added to the concrete mix.

Sizing composition for wet use chopped strand glass fibers
A sizing composition including water, a polyvinylpyrrolidone film former, a silane coupling agent, a lubricant, and a surfactant is provided. The polyvinylpyrrolidone film former constitutes from 30 wt. % to 50 wt. % of the dry solids of the sizing composition. Wet use chopped strand glass fibers for use in reinforcing gypsum board are also provided. The wet use chopped strand glass fibers include chopped glass fibers having the sizing composition applied thereto. The sizing composition improves fiber bundle integrity, fiber flow rate, fiber flow rate consistency, and dispersibility of the wet use chopped strand glass fibers in a gypsum matrix or slurry.
OIL SWELLABLE MATERIAL FOR LOW TEMPERATURE LOST CIRCULATION MATERIAL APPLICATION
A method for bridging a lost circulation zone comprising: providing a lost circulation composition comprising a phosphate ester based lost circulation material and a carrier fluid; introducing the lost circulation composition into a wellbore within a subterranean formation, wherein the subterranean formation comprises a lost circulation zone; and placing the lost circulation composition into the lost circulation zone.
