Polymer having polyether side chains
The invention relates to a polymer which is obtainable by copolymerizing monomers comprising at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer which comprises at least one acid group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer (II) having polyether groups with 5 to 35 repeating units and at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer (III) having polyether groups with 45 to 150 repeating units, the molar ratio of monomer (II) to monomer (III) being between 75:25 and 99.5:0.5. Further disclosed are the use of the polymer of the invention as an admixture for inorganic binder compositions, and a composition in powder form comprising an inorganic binder and the polymer of the invention.

The invention relates to a composition comprising at least one binder based on calcium sulfate and at least one polymer obtainable by polymerization of monomers based on alkoxylates of S-vinylthioalkanols. Furthermore a molding, in particular a gypsum plasterboard, a gypsum wallboard, a screed or a knifing filler, obtained by setting of the composition of the invention is disclosed.

The invention relates to a method for producing a dispersant, comprising the steps of a) providing at least one water-soluble polymer comprising polyether groups, b) providing an inorganic component comprising at least one phyllosilicate which has an integral sheet charge of 0, 1 or 2, c) producing an aqueous suspension comprising the at least one water-soluble polymer comprising polyether groups and the inorganic component comprising the at least one phyllosilicate, and d) spray-drying the aqueous suspension to give a solid. Additionally disclosed is the use of the dispersant of the invention in an inorganic binder composition.

Low-to-mid range water-reducing polymer with mixed polyoxyalkylene side chains
Methods for plasticizing cementitious mixtures having relatively high water/cement ratio (at least 0.40 or higher) are surprisingly improved in terms of dosage efficiency, compared to conventional superplasticizer polycarboxylate polymers, when the comb-type carboxylate copolymer is formed from two different polyether side chains having specifically selected monomer constituents.
Inorganic binder composition comprising a copolymer
The present invention relates to a composition comprising () at least one inorganic binder and () at least one water-soluble copolymer based on (a) 0.1 to 20 wt % of at least one monomer of the formula (I) and (b) 25 to 99.9 wt % of at least one hydrophilic monomer (b) which is different from monomer (a), where the at least one copolymer has a molar mass average M of 1 500 000 to 30 000 000 g/mol. Furthermore, a process for producing this composition is disclosed. A further aspect of the present invention is the use of the copolymer of component () as rheological additive in a composition of the invention.
Inorganic binder composition comprising a copolymer
The present invention relates to a composition comprising () at least one inorganic binder and () at least one water-soluble copolymer based on (a) 0.1 to 20 wt % of at least one monomer of the formula (I) and (b) 25 to 99.9 wt % of at least one hydrophilic monomer (b) which is different from monomer (a), where the at least one copolymer has a molar mass average M of 1 500 000 to 30 000 000 g/mol. Furthermore, a process for producing this composition is disclosed. A further aspect of the present invention is the use of the copolymer of component () as rheological additive in a composition of the invention.
