Disclosed is a portable multifunctional oral cavity cleaner which includes a tongue scraper, a material storage bottle, a material spraying device and a detachable housing; the tongue scraper can be changed into a contracted state from a stretched state via bending, rotating or folding, so as to reduce the volume of the oral cavity cleaner; an oral cavity cleaner body including the tongue scraper in the contracted state is housed in an inner cavity of the housing; and the housing can be reversely combined at the bottom of the oral cavity cleaner after being detached and used as a handle for prolonging the length of the oral cavity cleaner. The present application, featured with small size, light weight and portability, ensures hygiene in the carrying process and realizes multiple functions such as tongue coating removal, oral spray sterilization and interdental cleaning at one time.

The present invention relates to a rotating electric toothbrush comprising: a main body having a receiving space formed therein, a driving means received in the interior of the main body and providing a rotational force, a toothbrush handle having one end detachably coupled to the driving means, and receiving a rotational force of the driving means to be rotated, a support means coupled to the outer peripheral surface of the other end of the toothbrush handle and having plate-shaped support bodies made of a ductile material and radially formed to be spaced apart from each other, and a plurality of toothbrush bristles implanted between the support bodies. Further, a tongue cleaner, which is detachable and made of a silicon material, is further comprised, thereby easily cleaning a tongue.

There is provided a method of biofilm reduction from the tongue which includes the steps of applying water to a selected area of biofilm and applying an Er, CR: YSGG solid state laser to the selected biofilm area from a hand held device. The method includes generating cavitation to the selected area of biofilm by the application of water and the application of the Er, CR: YSGG solid state laser to result in biofilm disruption without tissue injury. The biofilm disruption produces a reduction of the biofilm over a period of time, with a reduction in aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. A comparison of digital image analyses of tongue coatings over a period of time can determine the reduction in biofilm.

There is disclosed a tool kit including differently sized and shaped tongue-cleaning working tips. The working tips generally include a distal working blade for engagement with the surface of the tongue. In some embodiments, the distal working blades are planar and may include one or more bends between planar sections or portions.
