Monolithic separation membrane structure and method of manufacturing the same

The monolithic separation membrane structure includes a monolithic base, an intermediate layer and a separation membrane. The monolithic base has a plurality of filtration cells extending from a first end face to a second end face. The intermediate layer is formed on an inner surface of the filtration cells. The separation membrane is formed on an inner surface of the intermediate layer. An inner diameter not including the intermediate layer and the separation membrane of the plurality of respective filtration cells is greater than or equal to 1.0 mm to less than or equal to 2.0 mm. A partition wall thickness not including the intermediate layer and the separation membrane of the shortest portion of two adjacent filtration cells of the plurality of filtration cells is greater than or equal to 0.05 mm to less than 0.2 mm. A thickness of the intermediate layer is greater than or equal to 20 μm to less than 100 μm.

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a silicon nitride substrate and, more specifically, comprises the steps of: forming a slurry by mixing silicon nitride powder, a ceramic additive, and a solvent; molding the slurry to form sheets; sandwiching at least one of the sheets between a lower plate and an upper plate to form a stacked structure; degreasing the stacked structure; and sintering the stacked structure. At least one of the lower plate and the upper plate comprises a plurality of protrusions provided on one surface thereof, and the protrusions extend in parallel to each other in one direction.

A solid electrolyte which contains a garnet-type composite metal oxide phase (L) and shows an excellent lithium ion conductivity is provided. The solid electrolyte contains a garnet-type composite metal oxide phase (L) and a phase (D) different from the phase (L). The phase (L) contains Li, La, Zr, O, and Ga, and an Li site in the phase (L) is substituted with the Ga. A lattice constant of the solid electrolyte is not smaller than 12.96 Å. The phase (D) contains at least one of LiF, BaZrO.sub.3, YF.sub.3, SrF.sub.2, and ScF.sub.3.

Electrode particles suitable for batteries

The disclosure relates to a carbon-based electrode material that has been graphitized to hold ions in the electrode of a battery and more particularly include carbide or carbide and nitride surfaces that protect the graphite core. The preferred batteries include metal ion such as lithium ion batteries where the carbon-based electrode is the anode although the carbon-based electrode may also serve in dual ion batteries where both electrodes may comprise the graphitized carbon-based electrodes. The electrodes are more amorphous than conventional graphite electrodes and include a carbide or nitride containing surface treatment.

In yet another aspect, a method of making a Co.sub.2Z-type ferrite comprises milling an initial Co.sub.2Z-type ferrite and Li.sub.2MoO.sub.4 to form a mixed ferrite; and calcining the mixed ferrite to form the Co.sub.2Z-type ferrite.

Zirconia/titanium oxide/cerium oxide doped rare earth tantalum/niobate RETa/NbO4 ceramic powder and preparation method thereof

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of ceramic powder preparation, and discloses a zirconia/titania/cerium oxide doped rare earth tantalum/niobate RETa/NbO.sub.4 ceramic powder and a preparation method thereof. A general chemical formula of the ceramic powder is RE.sub.1-x(Ta/Nb).sub.1-x(Zr/Ce/Ti).sub.2xO.sub.4, 0<x<1, the crystal structure of the ceramic powder is orthorhombic, the lattice space group of the ceramic powder is C222.sub.1, the particle size of the ceramic powder ranges from 10 to 70 μm, and particles of the ceramic powder are spherical. During preparation, the raw materials are ball-milled before a high temperature solid phase reaction, then mixed with a solvent and an organic binder to obtain a slurry C, then centrifuged and atomized to obtain dry pellets, and finally sintered to obtain a zirconia/titanium oxide/cerium oxide doped rare earth tantalum/niobate RETa/NbO.sub.4 ceramic powder, which satisfies the requirements of APS technology for ceramic powders.

The present application discloses a method for fabricating a ceramic heating body with a porous heating film, which relates to technical field of fabricating method of heating body; the method including mixing, ball-milling, defoaming, molding and drying, sintering, paraffin filling, machining, coating, metalizing sintering, and electrode leading; the beneficial effects of the present application is simple in whole fabricating method, and by using a box furnace to sinter the green body under an oxidizing atmosphere and normal pressure, the fabricated ceramic heating body is heated uniformly and the heating efficiency is high.

Ceramic powder

The present disclosure provides a ceramic powder having low bulkiness and good dispersibility. In the ceramic powder, the volume ratio of aggregated particles having a particle diameter larger than a reference particle diameter is 35 vol. % or more and the volume ratio when ultrasonic dispersion treatment for 10 minutes at an oscillation frequency of 19.5 kHz and an output power of 10 W is applied is 4 vol. % or less. The reference particle diameter is a particle diameter equivalent to a cumulative 0.1 vol. % diameter from the large diameter side when the ceramic powder is subjected to ultrasonic dispersion treatment for 3 minutes at an oscillation frequency of 19.5 kHz and an output power of 150 W.
